Isotropic apparent diffusion coefficient mapping of postnatal cerebral development.

Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) allows us to image the motion of tissue water. This has been used to demonstrate acute ischaemia. Diffusion imaging is also sensitive to water movement along neuronal tracts.
