The study utilized 5-ALA-PDT to treat patients with CIN or VaIN and assessed their clinical response, HPV clearance, and influencing factors after photodynamic therapy (PDT). This study involved 56 patients who received 5-ALA-PDT in a single center from May 2020 to March 2022, including 12 patients with CIN, 30 patients with VaIN, and 14 patients with both CIN and VaIN. Follow-up were conducted within 6 and 12 months after treatment to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of PDT.

During acute respiratory infections, women may concurrently receive human papillomavirus (HPV) and respiratory vaccines, as observed during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in China. However, few studies have assessed the safety of such concurrent administration, which could impact HPV vaccination schedules. This study analyzes the safety and optimal sequence of concurrent HPV and COVID-19 vaccinations.

Background: Endometrial cancer (EC) as one of the most common gynecologic malignancies is increasing in incidence during the past 10 years. Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) extended to metabolic and protein phenotypes inspired us to employ multiomics methods to analyze the causal relationships of plasma metabolites and proteins with EC to advance our understanding of EC biology and pave the way for more targeted approaches to its diagnosis and treatment by comparing the molecular profiles of different EC subtypes.
Methods: Two-sample mendelian randomization (MR) was performed to investigate the effects of plasma metabolites and proteins on risks of different subtypes of EC (endometrioid and nonendometrioid).

Background: Paclitaxel hypersensitivity reactions (HSRs) are prevalent, especially in females. The common paclitaxel pretreatment, dexamethasone, may inhibit chemotherapy efficacy and accelerate tumor progression. We aimed to balance paclitaxel HSRs and the lowest dexamethasone dose for gynecologic malignancies.

Niraparib improved survival in platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer (PSROC) patients routine surveillance, accompanied by increased costs. Based on the NORA trial, we evaluated for the first time the cost-effectiveness of maintenance niraparib with individualized starting dosage (ISD) in China. A Markov model was developed to simulate the costs and health outcomes of each strategy.

Background: 2020 World Health Organization Classification of Female Genital Tumors removed ovarian seromucinous carcinoma as a distinct entity and recategorized it as ovarian endometrioid carcinoma with mucinous differentiation according to its pathological features. The aim of this study was to find whether ovarian seromucinous carcinoma truly represented a distinct category of ovarian tumors or an analogue of ovarian endometrioid carcinoma.
Methods: Twelve patients diagnosed with ovarian seromucinous carcinoma and received surgery at the Xiangya Hospital from January 2010 to December 2019 were included in this study.

Objectives: Ovarian cancer is a fatal gynecological cancer due to the lack of effective screening strategies at early stage. This study explored the utility of DNA methylation profiling of blood samples for the detection of ovarian cancer.
Methods: Targeted bisulfite sequencing was performed on tissue (n = 152) and blood samples (n = 373) obtained from healthy women, women with benign ovarian tumors, or malignant epithelial ovarian tumors.

Background: The colposcopy-conization inconsistency is common in women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 3 (CIN3). No adequate method has been reported to identify the final pathology of conization. In this study, we explored the ability of PAX1 and ZNF582 methylation to predict the pathological outcome of conization in advance.

Nucleotide excision repair (NER) is an important mediator for responsiveness of platinum-based chemotherapy. Our study is aimed at investigating the NER-related genes expression in ascites tumor cells and its application in the prediction of chemoresponse in high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) patients. The relationship between 16 NER-related genes and the prognosis of ovarian cancer was analyzed in the TCGA database.

Background: Ovarian granulosa cell tumor (GCT) is extremely rare in children and adolescents, especially along with Meigs syndrome (MS).
Case: We describe the case of a 12-year-old girl who was referred to our center for massive peritoneal effusions with evidence of a pelvic mass on ultrasonography and computed tomography. The patient was treated with laparoscopic surgery (fertility-sparing surgery) and postoperative chemotherapy.

Unlabelled: DEAD-box RNA helicases belong to a large group of RNA-processing factors and play vital roles unwinding RNA helices and in ribosomal RNA biogenesis. Emerging evidence indicates that RNA helicases are associated with genome stability, yet the mechanisms behind this association remain poorly understood. In this study, we performed a comprehensive analysis of RNA helicases using multiplatform proteogenomic databases.

Objective: To explore treatment strategies for patients with positive margins after cervical cold knife conization (CKC) by estimating the risk of residual or recurrent CIN2 or worse (CIN2+).
Methods: A retrospective study included 569 patients receiving CKC for CIN3 in Xiangya Hospital from January 2013 to December 2017. Demographic characteristics and test results were obtained before CKC, after CKC, at 6, 12, and 24 months, then annually thereafter.

The development of drug resistance remains one of the major challenges to current chemotherapeutic regimens in gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN). Further understanding on the mechanisms of drug resistance would help to develop more effective therapy to treat GTN. Herein, tandem mass tag-based (TMT) quantitative proteomic technique was used to establish drug resistance-related proteomic profiles in chemoresistant GTN cell models (JEG3/MTX, JEG3/VP16, JEG3/5-Fu).

Purpose: Although platinum compounds are the first-line treatment for ovarian cancer, the majority of patients relapse and develop resistance to treatment. However, the mechanism underlying resistance is unclear. The goal of our study is to decipher the mechanism by which a metabolic kinase, diacylglycerol kinase alpha (DGKA), confers platinum resistance in ovarian cancer.

Background And Objective: Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN), a precancerous lesion, is difficult to treat by excision or ablation due to high recurrence rates. Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a minimally invasive therapeutic procedure and is now widely used to treat non-melanoma skin diseases. However, the clinical response rates of VIN to single PDT are unstable.
