Targeted drug delivery (TDD) is a method of delivering optimum concentrations of pharmaceutical substances in the tissue to achieve the desired therapeutic effect. Hence, TDD systems are considered as an emerging strategy to deliver the drug at the specific site of the tissues/cells. The nanoparticle-protein corona as a drug delivery vehicle has demonstrated immense benefits including potential theragnostic, improved pharmacodynamics and targeted drug delivery.

Ameloblastoma is one of the most prevalent odontogenic tumors of epithelial origin, with several histological variations. However, among these variants, 'hybrid ameloblastoma' is infrequent and anomalous. The current case study demonstrates the existence of hybrid ameloblastoma in a 27-year-old female patient, which included desmoplastic, follicular, and acanthomatous patterns.

Odontogenic keratocysts (OKC) are aggressive cysts with a high recurrence potential. Treating them with surgical enucleation procedures alone is associated with high recurrence rates; therefore, additional or supportive treatment approaches, such as peripheral osteotomy, cryotherapy, and chemical solutions, are warranted. The objective of the present review was to evaluate the existing literature on the efficacy of chemical approaches, such as Carnoy's solution (CS), in preventing recurrence after the enucleation of OKC.

Healthy humans and animals commonly harbor lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on their mucosal surfaces, which are often associated with food fermentation. These microorganisms can produce amphiphilic compounds, known as microbial surface-active agents, that exhibit remarkable emulsifying activity. However, the exact functions of these microbial surfactants within the producer cells remain unclear.

The formation of biomaterials is a physical phenomenon that is primarily influenced by the material's chemical and physical characteristics, as well as by the availability of proteins and their mutual interactions. A common extracellular matrix (ECM) glycoprotein called fibronectin (FN) is a biomaterial that is essential for tissue repair. Cellular FN (cFN), also known as the "large external transformation sensitive (LETS) protein" or "galactoprotein," was found during the quest for tumour markers twenty-five years ago and was later identified as the surface fibroblast antigen.
