This study concentrated on determining the levels of uranium present in drinking water samples obtained from various locations throughout the Shahdol district in Madhya Pradesh, India. In this assessment a LED fluorimeter Quantalase (LF-2a) was utilized. Uranium, being a radioactive substance, can be hazardous to health when consumed in significant quantities over extended durations.

The groundwater is being used for drinking and irrigation purposes in vast swathes of the Aravalli Mountain range. Since the radioisotope presence in groundwater is affected by the local mining processes, the radiation monitoring in groundwater of mining regions is of paramount importance. In the present work, we have estimated the 222Rn presence in the mining region of Aravalli in the southern part of Haryana.

The current global epidemic of hypertension is not a disease in and of itself but rather a significant risk factor for serious cardiovascular conditions such as peripheral artery disease, heart failure, myocardial infarction, and stroke. Although many medications that work through various mechanisms of action are available on the market in conventional formulations to treat hypertension, these medications face significant difficulties with their bioavailability, dosing, and associated side effects, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of their therapeutic interventions. Numerous studies have shown that nanocarriers and nanoformulations can minimize the toxicity associated with high doses of the drug while greatly increasing the drug's bioavailability and reducing the frequency of dosing.

Despite of our growing understanding of microplastic's implications, research on the effects of fibrous microplastic (FMPs) on the environment is still in its infancy. Some scientists have hypothesized the possibility of natural textile fibres, which may act as one of the emerging environmental pollutants prevalent among microplastic pollutants in the environment. Therefore, this review aims to critically evaluate the toxic effects of emerging FMPs, the presence, and sources of FMPs in the environment, identification and analytical techniques, and the potential impact or toxicity of the FMPs on the environment and human health.

Background: The proposed study was aimed to formulate and evaluate the glipizidephospholipid nano-complex. Since glipizide is a poorly soluble drug, its complexation with phospholipids is an ideal approach to improving solubility.
Methods: To improve the oral potency of glipizide, its phospholipid complex was prepared by employing the solvent evaporation method.

Background: The general purpose of this review was to briefly describe the Gastro-Retentive Drug Delivery System (GRDDS) and to primarily focus on mechanisms of flotation for gastric retention.
Methods: The principle mechanism of Floating Drug Delivery Systems (FDDS) is mainly based on hydro-dynamically controlled low-density system, which gets swollen when comes in contact with the gastric environment and remains buoyant for an extended period of time with improved bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy. The main perspective of this review was to focus on microbubble drug delivery due to its wide range of applications.

In this paper we investigate controller design problem for finite-time and fixed-time stabilization of fractional-order memristive complex-valued BAM neural networks (FMCVBAMNNs) with uncertain parameters and time-varying delays. By using the Lyapunov theory, differential inclusion theory, and fractional calculus theory, finite-time stabilization condition for fractional-order memristive complex-valued BAM neural networks and the upper bound of the settling time for stabilization are obtained. The nonlinear complex-valued activation functions are split into two (real and imaginary) components.

Background: The effective targeted drug delivery system is significant for future development of medicinal product and healthcare. There are also different types of nanostructures which include solid lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, dendrimers, nanostructured lipid carriers, lipid drug conjugate, liquid crystalline particles, polymeric nanocrystals, polymeric nanoparticles and superparamagnetic nanoparticles which have been considered as advanced carriers in drug delivery system. Method & Discussion: In this regard, nano carriers are bringing revolution in therapeutic delivery of drug as compared to conventional delivery systems by overcoming the limitations of usual methods.
