Purinostat Mesylate (PM) is a novel highly selective and active HDAC I/IIb inhibitor, and the injectable formulation of PM (PMF) based on the compound prescription containing cyclodextrin completely can overcome PM's poor solubility and improves its stability and pharmacokinetic properties. Here, we showed that PM effectively repressed the survival of Ph leukemia cells and CD34 leukemia cells from CML patients . studies demonstrated that PMF significantly prevented BCR-ABL(T315I) induced CML progression by restraining leukemia stem cells (LSCs), which are insensitive to chemotherapy and responsible for CML relapse.

Prediction-based methods have become more popular for solving dynamic multiobjective optimization problems. However, most of these proposed methods only use the optimal solutions in the previous two or three environments to predict the new optimal solutions after a change. Doing so neglects information from earlier in the history, which may reduce the accuracy of the prediction method.

To rationally use low-grade phosphorous limestone as the raw materials for cement production, the influence of phosphorous introduced by fluorapatite during the clinker calcination process on the mechanical properties of cementitious materials is investigated. Hydration kinetics, phase evolutions, and microstructure of cement pastes have been studied by using calorimetry, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicate that the mechanical properties of cementitious materials can be slightly improved due to the mineralization effect of the small amount of phosphorous in the clinker and significantly decreased with an increase of phosphorous.

Microbial taxon-taxon co-occurrences may directly or indirectly reflect the potential relationships between the members within a microbial community. However, to what extent and the specificity by which these co-occurrences are influenced by environmental factors remains unclear. In this report, we evaluated how the dynamics of microbial taxon-taxon co-occurrence is associated with the changes of environmental factors in Nan Lake at Wuhan city, China with a Modified Liquid Association method.

The photoelectric conversion efficiency of perovskite solar cells has improved rapidly, but their stability is poor, which is an important factor that restricts their commercial production. This paper studies the physical and chemical stability of perovskite solar cells based on first principles. It is well known that methylamido lead iodide compounds and methylamino lead iodide compounds are easily degraded into NHCH[double bond, length as m-dash]NHI, CHNHI and PbI.

Event-related fMRI have been widely used in locating brain regions which respond to specific tasks. However, activities of brain regions which modulate or indirectly participate in the response to a specific task are not event-related. Event-related fMRI can't locate these regulatory regions, detrimental to the integrity of the result that event-related fMRI revealed.

Although research on the mismatch negativity (MMN) has been ongoing for 40 years, the generation process of the MMN remains largely unknown. In this study, we used a single-trial electro-encephalography (EEG)-functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) coupling method which can analyze neural activity with both high temporal and high spatial resolution and thus assess the generation process of the MMN. We elicited the MMN with an auditory oddball paradigm while recording simultaneous EEG and fMRI.

The precise tuning of local spin states in adsorbed organometallic molecules by a mechanically controlled scanning tunneling microscope (STM) tip has become a focus of recent experiments. However, the underlying mechanisms remain somewhat unclear. We investigate theoretically the STM tip control of local spin states in a single iron(II) porphyrin molecule adsorbed on the Pb(111) substrate.

Graphene- or graphene oxide (GO)-supported metallic nanoparticles and single metal atom as potentially effective catalysts for chemical reactions have recently received extensive research interests. However, metal utilization in nanoparticle catalysts is limited and metal atoms readily drift on the graphene surface and consequently form aggregated large particles, making practical applications limited. Here, we report metal ions directly immobilized on GO as a novel GO-supported single-ion catalyst for chemiluminecence (CL) reactions.

In this paper we propose a scheme by using weak-measurement-based pre- and post-flips (WMPPF) to protect the average quantum Fisher information (QFI) in the independent amplitude-damping channel (ADC) for N-qubit GHZ state and generalized N-qubit GHZ states. We also discuss the weak measurement and quantum measurement reversal (WMQMR) with the same ADC. Based on the analytical and numerical results we obtain the main result: the WMPPF can reduce the effect of dissipation on the average QFI of the phase or the frequency for GHZ state and some generalized GHZ states, and the WMQMR can reduce the effect of dissipation on the average fidelity for GHZ state and generalized GHZ states in ADC.

Based on DFT calculations, we propose a TM@CN hybrid structure, in which the single-atom transition metal (TM = Pt, Pd, Co, Ni, Cu) is supported by graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN), as a promising high-performance OER catalyst. Our work reveals the importance of local TM coordination in catalysts for the OER, which would lead to a new class of low-cost, durable and efficient OER catalysts.

Blue phosphorus, a previously unknown phase of phosphorus, has been recently predicted by theoretical calculations and shares its layered structure and high stability with black phosphorus, a rapidly rising two-dimensional material. Here, we report a molecular beam epitaxial growth of single layer blue phosphorus on Au(111) by using black phosphorus as precursor, through the combination of in situ low temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and density functional theory calculation. The structure of the as-grown single layer blue phosphorus on Au(111) is explained with a (4 × 4) blue phosphorus unit cell coinciding with a (5 × 5) Au(111) unit cell, and this is verified by the theoretical calculations.
