This study aims to enhance the accuracy of three-dimensional (3D) modeling in the planning, design, operation management, and risk assessment of 500 kV transmission lines. Addressing the limitations of traditional two-dimensional (2D) or low-precision 3D models, a new method based on airborne Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology is proposed. Initially, high-density, high-precision 3D point cloud data are collected using airborne LiDAR technology.

Target-immobilized magnetic beads-based Systematic Evolution of Ligands by Exponential Enrichment (target-immobilized Mag-SELEX) has emerged as a powerful tool for aptamer selection owing to its convenience, efficiency, and versatility. However, in this study we systematically investigated non-specific adsorption in target-immobilized Mag-SELEX and found that the non-specific adsorption of the oligonucleotides to target-labeled magnetic beads was comparable to that of the screening libraries, indicating a substantial portion of captured sequences likely stem from non-specific adsorption. Longer nucleic acid sequences (80 nt and above, such as polyA80 and yeast tRNA) were found to attenuate this non-specific adsorption, with more complex higher-order structures demonstrating greater efficacy, while dNTP and short sequences such as primer sequences (20 nt), polyT(59), or polyA(59), did not possess this capability.

Lysine crotonylation is a newly identified posttranslational modification that is different from the widely studied lysine acetylation in structure and function. In the last dozen years, great progress has been made in lysine crotonylation-related studies, and lysine crotonylation is involved in reproduction, development and disease. In this review, we highlight the similarities and differences between lysine crotonylation and lysine acetylation.

Lipid accumulation in macrophages plays an important role in atherosclerosis and is the major cause of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Reducing lipid accumulation in macrophages is an effective therapeutic target for atherosclerosis. Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) exerts the anti-atherosclerotic effects by inhibiting lipid accumulation in macrophages.

As the global economic development intensifies the plunder of resources and the environment, the constraints are becoming more and more obvious. Based on the background of the strategy for ecological conservation and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, this paper intends to construct a resource-environment-constrained economic growth drag effect model and a spatial Dubin model, and explore the economic growth drag effect and its spatial differences in the Yellow River Basin under the constraints of resources and environment. The study found that the total drag effects of the overall economic growth of the Yellow River Basin that were obtained by the classic panel model without spatial effects is significantly negative.

Computing the diameter of nanometer wood powder is the key step of intelligently acquiring wood powder mesh during processing and production in the wood powder manufacturing industry. To obtain the micro image of nano wood powder, the method of hole filling is adopted to fill the binary image of wood powder particles. The contours of wood powder particles are extracted with the use of the edge detection operator, and the control experiment is carried out accordingly.

Cadmium (Cd) and its compounds are well-known human carcinogens, but the mechanisms underlying the carcinogenesis are not well understood. This study aimed to investigate whether long noncoding RNA (LncRNA)-ENST00000446135 could serve as a novel biomarker of Cd toxicity in cells, animals, and Cd-exposed workers and regulate DNA damage and repair. LncRNA-ENST00000446135 expression increased gradually in cadmium chloride-transformed 16HBE cells.

The abuse of illicit drug addiction is a worldwide public health and social problem. In this paper, we reported on a simple and rapid colorimetric biosensor for duplexed detection of methamphetamine (METH) and cocaine in a single assay. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and Au@Ag NPs were synthesized and functionalized with DNA reporter probes (RPs) for METH and cocaine, respectively.
