Background: Parkinson's disease is a progressive degenerative nervous system disease. Recent studies have shown that secondary changes in the GABA system play directly affect the pathogenesis of PD. There is still much debate about GABA concentrations because currently, GABA concentrations in the brain tissue are obtained indirectly by measuring its concentration in the blood and cerebrospinal fluid.

Department of Medical Oncology, Affiliated Langdong Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, Guangxi Medical University Kaiyuan Langdong Hospital, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region 530021, P.R. China.

The aim of the current study was to develop a predictor classifier for response to fluorouracil-based chemotherapy in patients with advanced colorectal cancer (CRC) using microarray gene expression profiles of primary CRC tissues. Using two expression profiles downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between responders and non-responders to fluorouracil-based chemotherapy were identified. A total of 791 DEGs, including 303 that were upregulated and 488 that were downregulated in responders, were identified.

Background And Aim: Recent studies have shown that genetic factors are involved in the development of kidney stone disease (KSD). A case-control association analysis was performed to investigate the association between homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 (HIPK2; OMIM *606868) polymorphisms and KSD.

Methods: A total of 890 KSD patients and 920 healthy subjects were analyzed.
