Aims: Both aerobic exercise and glucosamine hydrochloride capsules (OTL) have a therapeutic effect on knee osteoarthritis, but their joint application has not been investigated. This study clarified the mechanism of the combined treatment in knee osteoarthritis.
Main Methods: Aerobic exercise and OTL were used alone or in combination to treat papain-induced knee osteoarthritis model rabbits.

Human epidermal growth factor receptor2 () overexpression/amplification is associated with high malignancy, rapid disease progression and poor overall survival in breast cancer. The application of anti- drugs has greatly improved the survival of patients with -positive breast cancer, but drug resistance issues affect the long-term efficacy. The mutation is considered to be one of the reasons for resistance to anti- therapy, and there is currently no standard treatment.

Cucurbitacin B (CuB) is a widely available triterpenoid molecule that exhibits various biological activities. Previous studies on the anti-tumour mechanism of CuB have mostly focused on cell apoptosis, and research on the ferroptosis-inducing effect has rarely been reported. Background: The relation of tissue and circulating advanced glycation end products (AGEs) with mortality in hemodialysis (HD) patients remains inconclusive. We aimed to investigate the association of serum AGEs (CML) and tissue AGEs estimated by skin autofluorescence (SAF) with all-cause and cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality, and examine the possible modifiers for the association in HD patients with by far the largest sample size in any similar studies.
Methods: A total of 1,634 HD patients were included from the China Cooperative Study on Dialysis (CCSD), a multicenter prospective cohort study.

A unique deoxygenative cyclodimerization of alkynyl 1,2-diketones facilitated by Ti(OPr) is achieved, affording a series of highly functionalized furan products. An unusual C-C bond and C═O bond cleavage of the substrates is observed, and Ti(OPr) plays triplicate roles in the reaction. Furthermore, the products show uncommon fluorescent emission in the solid state, indicating the potential practical applications of this work.

Hook F (HF) is one of the most commonly used and effective traditional Chinese herbal medicines against rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Both Tripterygium Glycoside Tablets (TGT) and Tablets (TWT) are the representative HF-based agents enrolled into the 2019 edition of Medicine Catalog for National Basic Medical Insurance, Injury Insurance, and Maternity Insurance. However, individual differences in TGT/TWT response across patients usually exist in the process of treating RA, implying that the clinical application of the two agents may not be standardized leading to the ineffective treatment and the risk of side effects.

Rationale And Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore conventional MRI features that can accurately differentiate central nervous system embryonal tumor, not otherwise specified (CNS ETNOS) from glioblastoma (GBM) in adults.
Materials And Methods: Preoperative conventional MRI images of 30 CNS ETNOS and 98 GBMs were analyzed by neuroradiologists retrospectively to identify valuable MRI features. Five blinded neuroradiologists independently reviewed all these MRI images, and scored MRI features on a five-point scale.

Background: Ultrafast ultrasound imaging has been demonstrated to be an effective method to evaluate carotid stiffness through carotid pulse-wave velocity (PWV) with high reproducibility, but a lack of reference values has precluded its widespread use in clinical practice. The aims of this study were to establish reference values of PWV for ultrafast ultrasound imaging in a prospective, multicenter, population-based cohort study and to investigate the main determinants of carotid PWV.
Methods: A total of 1,544 healthy Han Chinese volunteers (581 men [38%]; age range, 18-95 years) were enrolled from 32 collaborating laboratories in China.

Clinical practice guideline for Tripterygium Glycosides/Tripterygium wilfordii Tablets in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(T/CACM 1337-2020) was approved on June, 2020 by the Standardization Office of Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine. Our group developed this guideline for the clinical application of Tripterygium Glycosides/Tripterygium wilfordii Tablets according to the manual for the clinical experts consensus of Chinese patent medicine from January, 2018, when this project was approved by Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine. In this article, the detailed information on our compilation process was provided, in order to facilitate the understanding and the application of the guideline, as well as provide reference for the development of clinical practice guideline for other Chinese patent medicine.
