[Efficacy of relocation and expansion pharyngoplasty by suspension sutures in the treatment of OSAHS with soft palate oropharyngeal obstruction].

To explore the efficacy of relocation and expansion pharyngoplasty by suspension sutures in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Seventy-three patients(including 60 males and 13 females) with OSAHS admitted to the department of otorhinolaryngology of our hospital in recent two years were retrospectively analyzed. All the patients had velopharyngeal obstructionevaluated by electronic endoscopic Müller test and were divided into control group (34 cases) and observation group (39 cases).

H-NMR based metabolic study of MMTV-PyMT mice along with pathological progress to screen biomarkers for the early diagnosis of breast cancer.

A H NMR-based metabonomic approach was applied to monitor the alterations of serum metabolic profiles in MMTV-PyMT transgenic mice to detect the dynamic changes associated with the pathological process and explore the early-stage biomarkers. The H NMR spectra of sera samples from four different stages in MMTV-PyMT mice including hyperplasia, adenoma, early carcinoma and late carcinoma stages were recorded and analyzed using multivariate statistical techniques. The results showed that the increased levels of lipid and lactate, and decreased leucine/isoleucine, valine, methionine, glutamine, creatine, PC/GPC, taurine and glucose were of significance for the early carcinoma stage.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Lingze Tablets in the treatment of BPH with kidney deficiency, blood stasis and dampness resistance.

Methods: Totally 235 eligible BPH patients, aged 50－80 years and meeting the inclusion criteria, were enrolled and treated with Lingze Tablets orally, 4 tablets per time, tid. Before and after an 8-week course of medication, IPSS, quality of life (QOL) and TCM syndromes scores were obtained from the patients.

Objective: To investigate the effect of Danhong Tongjing Prescription (DTP) on sperm quality in patients with bilateral varicocele (VC) after microsurgical varicocelectomy.

Methods: We randomly assigned 68 patients with bilateral VC to receive microsurgical varicocelectomy (the control group, n = 34) or microsurgical varicocelectomy followed by oral administration of DTP for a course of 90 days (the DTP group, n = 34). Before and after treatment, we obtained the sperm concentration, total sperm count, total sperm motility, the percentage of progressively motile sperm (PMS), sperm acrosomal enzyme activity, inhibin B (Inh-B) level, and sperm DNA fragmentation index (DFI) from the patients and compared the parameters between the two groups.

Methods: We searched 7 electronic databases for relevant studies and full-text articles involved in the evaluation of clinical effects difference between Lingguizhugan decoction combined with western medicine and western medicine alone.

Integrative oncology has developed for about 20 years in some countries; however, integrative oncology is still a relative new term for most China's oncologists. Thus, it is essential to summarize the experience and expertise, share details of differing existing models and discuss future perspectives to help define and guide practice in integrative oncology in China. This study presents a summary of the basic characteristics, status, and challenges of integrative oncology in China, and also reports on China's integrative physicians' service delivery, clinical practice and research patterns of integrative oncology by an online national survey, including 405 oncologists.

Comparative efficacy and safety of first-line treatments for advanced non-small cell lung cancer with ALK-rearranged: a meta-analysis of clinical trials.

Background: Whereas there are many pharmacological interventions prescribed for patients with advanced anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)- rearranged non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), comparative data between novel generation ALK-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) remain scant. Here, we indirectly compared the efficacy and safety of first-line systemic therapeutic options used for the treatment of ALK-rearranged NSCLC.

Methods: We included all phase 2 and 3 randomised controlled trials (RCTs) comparing any two or three treatment options.

Objective: To innvestigate the rehabilitation effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) combined with cognitive training on cognitive impairment in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) by using multimodal magnetic resonance imaging.

Methods: Clinical data of 166 patients with cognitive impairment after TBI were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were assigned into an observation group and a control group according to different treatment methods, with 83 cases in each group.

More than 20 types of ALK fusion variant subtypes have been identified, including different fusion partner genes or EML4-ALK fusions with different breakpoints. However, different ALK fusions show different sensitivities to ALK-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (ALK-TKIs) and the emergence of rare fusions brings great challenges to the target therapy in clinic. We report a rare EML4-ALK (E6;A18) fusion in a patient with lung adenocarcinoma that responded well to alectinib.

Purpose: This study was designed to construct and validate a nomogram that was available for predicting cancer-specific survival (CSS) in patients with pulmonary large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC).

Patients And Methods: Using the US Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database, we identified patients pathologically diagnosed as LCNEC from 1975 to 2016. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression was conducted to assess prognostic factors of CSS.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to reevaluate the high-risk breast non-mass-like lesions (NMLs) in mammography (MG) by target ultrasound (US) and Automated breast ultrasonography (ABUS), and to analyze the correlation between different imaging findings and the factors influencing the classification of lesions.

Methods: A total of 161 patients with 166 breast lesions were recruited in this retrospectively study. All cases were diagnosed as BI-RADS 4 or 5 by MG and as NML on ultrasound.

Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 252 consecutive patients who underwent Oxford UKA for AMOA with a minimum follow-up of 5 years between March 2013 and December 2016.
