To better understand the relationship between them, we conducted an analysis using a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) approach.
Methods: We gathered summary statistical data from previously published genome-wide association studies (GWAS) on PCOS and three sex hormones (AMH, Estradiol, LH) along with four oral inflammatory diseases (painful gums, loose teeth, mouth ulcers, and toothache).

Objective: Traditional observational research has suggested a connection between socioeconomic position, mental health, and sleep apnea (SA), but the specifics of this connection are still unclear. Using the Mendelian randomization approach, we intended to evaluate the potential causal link between mental health, socioeconomic status, and SA.
Methods: Our research employed summary statistics data from large-scale genome-wide association studies (GWAS) on mental health, socioeconomic status, and SA.

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a malignant tumor with a high rate of recurrence and m metastasis that does not respond well to current therapies and has a very poor prognosis. Disulfidptosis is a novel mode of cell death that has been analyzed as a novel therapeutic target for HCC cells.
Methods: This study integrated bulk ribonucleic acid (RNA) sequencing datasets, spatial transcriptomics (ST), and single-cell RNA sequencing to explore the landscape of disulfidptosis and the immune microenvironment of HCC cells.

Background: Autophagy, a cellular process involving lysosomal self-digestion, plays a crucial role in recycling biomolecules and degrading dysfunctional proteins and damaged organelles. However, in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), cancer cells can exploit autophagy to survive metabolic stress and develop resistance to epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs), which reduce treatment efficacies. Currently, most studies have found that late-stage autophagy inhibitors can hinder EGFR-TKIs resistance, while research on early-stage autophagy inhibitors is still limited.

Aims: This study aimed to investigate the association between the gut microbiota and the risk of stroke.
Methods: Faecal samples from 60 participants in South China, including 45 individuals with risk factors for stroke and 15 healthy controls, were collected and subjected to 16S rRNA sequencing. A bioinformatics analysis was performed to characterise the gut microbial diversity and taxonomic compositions at different risk levels (low, moderate, and high) of stroke.

Background: Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is a common and severe complication of diabetes that can lead to end-stage renal disease with no cure. The first-line drugs recommended by clinical guidelines fail to achieve satisfactory effects for people with DKD. A Chinese herbal medicine Tangshen Qushi Formula (TQF) shows preliminary efficacy and safety in preserving renal function for people with DKD, but the effects on comprehensive renal outcomes remain unclear.
