Aim: To identify risk factors associated with SSIs and evaluate the effectiveness of prophylactic antibiotics in reducing these infections.
Methods: A comprehensive retrospective evaluation was conducted on 400 patients who underwent LC from January 2022 to January 2024.

Case Summary: A 57-year-old woman with a 20-year history of joint swelling, tenderness, and morning stiffness who was negative for rheumatoid factor and had a normal uric acid level was diagnosed with SNRA.

Background: The malignancy of cholangiocarcinoma is highly pronounced, and it exhibits a propensity for recurrence and metastasis even in the presence of standard chemotherapy. The efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy in patients with resected cholangiocarcinoma needs to be substantiated.
Methods: Data from 101 patients with cholangiocarcinoma treated at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between 2015 and 2020 were studied.

Background: The comparative analysis of ultracentrifugation (UC) and polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based precipitation for the isolation of exosomes in gouty arthritis synovial fluid (GASF) is rarely reported, and it is not known whether different isolation methods can influence subsequent cytokine analysis.
Methods: GA patients were enrolled during a 1-year period from May 2021 to May 2022. Morphology, particle number, size, purity, protein concentration, and biomarker proteins of GASF-derived exosomes in both extraction methods were observed using transmission electron microscopy, nanoparticle tracer analysis, bicinchoninic acid assay, and Western blotting.

Methods: Computer searches of 3 Chinese literature databases (CNKI, VIP, WangFang) and 4 English literature databases (PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Web of Science), all searched from the time of database construction to October 2022. Two researchers were selected to independently perform literature screening, data extraction, and risk of bias evaluation, and meta-analysis of the included studies was performed using RevMan 5.
