We developed a new sodium magnetic resonance fingerprinting (Na MRF) method for the simultaneous mapping of and sodium density with built-in (radiofrequency transmission inhomogeneities) and corrections (frequency offsets). Can the transcriptomic profile of a neuron predict its physiological properties? Using a Patch-seq dataset of the primary visual cortex, we addressed this question by focusing on spike rate adaptation (SRA), a well-known phenomenon that depends on small conductance calcium (Ca)-dependent potassium (SK) channels. We first show that in parvalbumin-expressing (PV) and somatostatin-expressing (SST) interneurons (INs), expression levels of genes encoding the ion channels underlying action potential generation are correlated with the half-width (HW) of spikes. Surprisingly, the SK encoding gene is not correlated with the degree of SRA (dAdap).

Clinical, neuroimaging and genomics evidence have increasingly underscored a degree of overlap between autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Objective: The Neiman Imaging Comorbidity Index (NICI) was developed and validated in a claims dataset encompassing >10 million privately insured beneficiaries, in which it outperformed the commonly used Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI) in predicting advanced imaging use. This external validation assessed the broader generalizability of NICI for predicting receipt of advanced imaging in nationally representative populations, including patients insured by Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers.

Methods: All 2018 to 2019 patient-level claims from the CMS Medicare 5% Research Identifiable File, CMS Medicaid 100% Research Identifiable File, and private insurance (commercial and Medicare Advantage) claims from Inovalon Insights, LLC, were included.
