Unlabelled: The therapeutic challenge in peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAD) is often to increase walking distance, improve pain or heal a wound when PAD is symptomatic. Walking rehabilitation or surgical revascularization techniques are limited. Others strategies as alternatives and/or complementary treatments are needed.

Facial dog bites in children: A public health problem highlighted by COVID-19 lockdown.

Background: Stay-at-home injunction during COVID-19 pandemic led to new dynamics in households and increased the risk of domestic accidents involving pets. The aim of the study was to demonstrate an increase of facial dog bites in children during first lockdown period in France, compared to the same period in 2018 and 2019. Secondary objective was to investigate the demographics and circumstances in which dog bites occurred.

Management of 80 sinonasal undifferentiated carcinomas. Retrospective multicentre study of the French Network of Rare Head and Neck Cancers (REFCOR).

Objectives: Sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma (SNUC) is a rare and aggressive disease requiring multimodal treatment, and multiple new entities once included in the spectrum of SNUC, such as SWI/SNF-deficient carcinomas, are emerging. We aimed to provide new data regarding the role of chemotherapy and surgery and the prognostic factors of disease-free survival.

Methods: This study was based on data from the REFCOR database and included patients with SNUC treated with curative intent from 2007 to 2021 across 22 centres in France.

Update About the Management of Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol and Hypertriglyceridemia in Lower Extremity Peripheral Artery Disease Patients: Consensus of the French Society of Vascular Medicine and the French Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

Background: A French intersociety consensus on behalf the Société Française de Médecine Vasculaire and the Société de Chirurgie Vasculaire et Endovasculaire was proposed in 2021 for the management of patients with lower extremity peripheral artery disease (LEAD). Recent studies have been published and an update of this consensus about the management of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLc) and hypertriglyceridemia was required.

Methods: A steering committee of 12 vascular physicians and surgeons defined questions of interest about LDLc and hypertriglyceridemia management.

Combining Glucose Monitoring and Insulin Infusion in an Integrated Device: A Narrative Review of Challenges and Proposed Solutions.

The introduction of automated insulin delivery (AID) systems has enabled increasing numbers of individuals with type 1 diabetes (T1D) to improve their glycemic control largely. However, use of AID systems is limited due to their complexity and costs associated. The user must wear both a continuously monitoring glucose system and an insulin infusion pump.

Dupilumab for relapsing or refractory sinonasal and/or asthma manifestations in eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis: a European retrospective study.

Background: Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is often associated with glucocorticoid-dependent asthma and/or ear, nose and throat (ENT) manifestations. When immunosuppressants and/or mepolizumab are ineffective, dupilumab could be an option. We describe the safety and efficacy of off-label use of dupilumab in relapsing and/or refractory EGPA.

Cardiogenic Shock in Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomyopathy Patients: Red Flag for Myocardial Decline.

Idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (IDCM) is one of the most common forms of nonischemic cardiomyopathy worldwide, possibly leading to cardiogenic shock (CS). Despite this heavy burden, the outcomes of CS in IDCM are poorly reported. Based on a large registry of unselected CS, our aim was to shed light on the 1-year outcomes after CS in patients with and without IDCM.

Epidemiology of psychiatric disorders following cytoreductive surgeries plus hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy: a prospective cohort analysis.

The peritoneal surface malignancy (PSM) is an advanced disease, the prognosis of which has been radically improved since the development of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with or without hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). These procedures are associated with many complications. However, very few data are available regarding the psychiatric morbidities that might occur.

Pathophysiologic implications of elevated prevalence of hereditary alpha-tryptasemia in all mastocytosis subtypes.

Background: Mastocytosis and monoclonal mast cell (MC) activation syndrome (MMAS) are heterogeneous conditions characterized by the accumulation of atypical MCs. Despite the recurrent involvement of KIT mutations, the pathophysiologic origin of mastocytosis and MMAS is unclear. Although hereditary α-tryptasemia (HαT, related to TPSAB1 gene duplication) is abnormally frequent in these diseases, it is not known whether the association is coincidental or causal.

Prognostic role of radiomics-based body composition analysis for the 1-year survival for hepatocellular carcinoma patients.

Background: Parameters of body composition have prognostic potential in patients with oncologic diseases. The aim of the present study was to analyse the prognostic potential of radiomics-based parameters of the skeletal musculature and adipose tissues in patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Methods: Radiomics features were extracted from a cohort of 297 HCC patients as post hoc sub-study of the SORAMIC randomized controlled trial.

Background: Concern about disease exacerbations and fear of reactions after coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccinations are common in chronic urticaria (CU) patients and may lead to vaccine hesitancy.

Objective: We assessed the frequency and risk factors of CU exacerbation and adverse reactions in CU patients after COVID-19 vaccination.

Methods: COVAC-CU is an international multicenter study of Urticaria Centers of Reference and Excellence (UCAREs) that retrospectively evaluated the effects of COVID-19 vaccination in CU patients aged ≥18 years and vaccinated with ≥1 dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.

Minimally invasive nephron-sparing treatments for T1 renal cell cancer in patients over 75 years: a comparison of outcomes after robot-assisted partial nephrectomy and percutaneous ablation.

Purpose: To compare the oncological and perioperative outcomes of robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RPN) and percutaneous thermal ablation (PTA) for treatment of T1 renal cell cancer (RCC) in patients older than 75 years.

Materials And Methods: Retrospective national multicenter study included all patients older than 75 years treated for a T1 RCC by RPN or PTA between January 2010 and January 2021. Patients' characteristics, tumor data, and perioperative and oncological outcomes were compared.
