Another challenge with these models is that they are computation and memory intensive, which can pose a problem with real-time applications.

Ambient Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) were investigated to determine their characteristics, Ozone Formation Potentials (OFPs), and health risks in two crude oil production plants (Nusaybin and Egil plants) in southeastern Türkiye. Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, m + p xylene, o xylene, and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene were measured at eight passive sampling points in each plant. Samples were analyzed using gas chromatography coupled with a flame ionization detector and a thermal desorption.

In this study, a health risk assessment of possible toxic metal and aflatoxin contamination in homemade and industrial noodles produced in Türkiye was carried out. Samples were taken from 67 kinds of homemade and five kinds of industrial noodles from different cities.

The global shortage of integrated circuits due to the COVID-19 pandemic has made it challenging to build biopotential acquisition devices like electroencephalography (EEG) hardware. To address this issue, a new hardware system using common ICs has been designed, which is cost-effective, precise, and easily accessible from global distributors. The hardware system comprises 8-channel inputs EEG hardware with a mobile headset capable of acquiring 5-30Hz EEG signals.

Investigation of Wettability, Thermal Stability, and Solar Behavior of Composite Films Based on Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Barium Titanate Nanoparticles.

Herein, composite films were produced by incorporating different amounts (1, 3, 5, and 7%) of barium titanate nanoparticles into the thermoplastic polyurethane matrix using a solution casting method. This study examined the impact of the presence and concentration of a barium titanate additive on morphologic properties, mechanical performance, thermal stability, solar behavior, and wettability of produced film samples. The films were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, thermal gravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscope, ultraviolet-visible near-infrared spectrophotometer, water contact angle, and tensile strength measurements.

The MDM2-p53 pathway plays a pivotal role in regulating cell cycle and apoptosis, with its dysfunction contributing to approximately 50% of human malignancies. MDM2, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, targets the tumour suppressor p53 for degradation, thereby promoting uncontrolled cell growth in cancers. Inhibiting the MDM2-p53 interaction represents a promising therapeutic strategy for reactivating p53's tumour-suppressive functions.

Four radiologists labeled images into five classes: anterior cerebral artery (ACA), middle cerebral artery (MCA), posterior circulation (PC), and watershed (WS) regions, as well as normal images.

Background/objectives: Populations in Mediterranean countries are abandoning the traditional Mediterranean diet (MD) and lifestyle, shifting towards unhealthier habits due to profound cultural and socioeconomic changes. The SWITCHtoHEALTHY project aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of a multi-component nutritional intervention to improve the adherence of families to the MD in three Mediterranean countries, thus prompting a dietary behavior change.

Methods: A parallel, randomized, single-blinded, and controlled multicentric nutritional intervention study will be conducted over 3 months in 480 families with children and adolescents aged 3-17 years from Spain, Morocco, and Turkey.

This study focuses on the classification of six different macrofungi species using advanced deep learning techniques. A new 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivative (MeO-SODA) was synthesized, fully characterized by means of IR, NMR and HRMS data and and additionally, its ability to detect extremely acidic pH values ​​was examined. Firstly, the characteristic behavior of MeO-SODA was examined in ten different solvents, revealing that it underwent non-radiative transitions as the hydrogen bonding capacity of solvent increased. Secondly, the absorption and fluorescence measurements for MeO-SODA were conducted across various pH levels (pH 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12), with fluorescence emission observed exclusively at pH 2.

In this study, we aimed to synthesize new carbon dot structures (CDs) in a single step by using the plant for the first time and to contribute to the studies in the field of diode fabrication by using the new CDs. The CDs were obtained by hydrothermal synthesis, which is commonly used in the literature. TEM and zeta potential measurements were used to determine morphology and sizes of the CDs, and XRD, XPS, and FTIR and micro-Raman spectroscopy were used for structural characterization.
