Airborne fungi are major contributors to substandard indoor air quality, with potential implications for public health, especially in public facilities. The risk of chronic exposure can be significantly reduced by accurately predicting airborne fungal concentrations. To manage indoor air quality, we developed machine learning (ML) models that predict airborne fungal concentrations in public facilities by utilizing environmental variables, such as facility type, floor, month, air temperature, relative humidity, coarse particulate matter (PM), and 2-day accumulated precipitation.

The aim of the study was to examine the effects of environmental factors including disinfection on airborne microbiome during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, we evaluated indoor and outdoor air collected from 19 classrooms regularly disinfected. Extracted bacterial and fungal DNA samples were sequenced using the Illumina MiSeq™ platform. Purpose: Osteoporosis is a metabolic skeletal disease characterized by bone loss and an increased risk of fractures. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effect of Agastache rugosa on postmenopausal osteoporosis and elucidate its mechanisms in modulating the bone status.
Methods And Results: In the osteoblast differentiation process with MC3T3-E1 pre-osteoblasts, ethanol extract of Agastache rugosa (EEAR) and its compounds increased the expression of the proteins and genes of the osteoblast differentiation-related markers such as Runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2) and β-catenin along with the elevation of calcium deposits.

Objectives: To investigate the inhibitory effects of an herbal formulation of Cheongsangbangpoong-tang (CBT) on inflammatory acne lesions as the control of the 'Heat' pattern.
Design: A single center study. Randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel group, double-blind trial SETTING: Fifty-six subjects, who had more than 10 acne inflammatory lesions each, were randomly allocated into the CBT or placebo groups and took 5 g CBT extract (CBT group) or 5 g placebo extract (control group), respectively, three times a day for 8 weeks.

Background: Many previous studies of electroacupuncture used combined therapy of electroacupuncture and systemic manual acupuncture, so it was uncertain which treatment was effective. This study evaluated and compared the effects of systemic manual acupuncture, periauricular electroacupuncture and distal electroacupuncture for treating patients with tinnitus.
Methods: A randomized, parallel, open-labeled exploratory trial was conducted.
