A reduced pressure glow discharge is produced by passing a high-power pulsed DC source of 0-500 W with a frequency of 50 Hz across two parallel disk electrodes. A hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution is used as a flowing gas for discharge generation. Optical emission spectroscopy is employed to diagnose the discharge generated at a reduced pressure of 0.

Virus infection causes the metabolic disorder of host cells, whereas the metabolic disorder of cells is one of the major causes of tumorigenesis, suggesting that antiviral molecules might possess anti-tumor activities by regulating cell metabolism. As the key regulators of gene expression, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play vital roles in the regulation of cell metabolism. However, the influence of antiviral lncRNAs on tumorigenesis has not been explored.

Dye solubilization in microemulsion based on Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and its modified forms (counter-anions based upon Zn, Cu and Fe) is comparatively innovative and not explored in existing literature. Here, surfactant with modified counterions (SMCs) were used to study the effects of metal chlorides (ZnCl, CuCl and FeCl) modifications on the comparative solubilization of Rhodamine-B (RB) by Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and its modified forms. The solubility of RB in different microemulsions were studied using UV-Visible spectroscopy and phase diagrams of CTAB with modified counter ions CTA[ZnCl.

This paper addresses new exponential estimators for population mean in case of non-response on both the study and the concomitant variables using simple random sampling. The expressions for theoretical bias and mean square error of new estimators are derived up to first-order approximation and comparisons are made with the existing estimators. The proposed estimators are observed more efficient as compared to the considered estimators in the literature.

Estimation of population mean is a determined subject issue in sampling surveys and many efforts have been paid by various researchers to enhance the precision of the estimates by utilizing the correlated auxiliary information. In connection with this, we suggest an improved exponential ratio-cum-ratio estimator using transformed auxiliary variables under ranked set sampling scheme. Theoretical comparison between estimators is made in terms of mean square errors (), percentage relative efficiencies (), and percentage relative root mean squared error ().

Medicinal plants are rich sources of natural oils such as essential and fixed oils used traditionally for nutritive as well as medicinal purposes. Most of the traditional formulations or phytopharmaceutical formulations contain oil as the main ingredient due to their own therapeutic applications and thus mitigating several pathogeneses such as fungal/bacterial/viral infection, gout, psoriasis, analgesic, antioxidant, skin infection, etc. Due to the lack of quality standards and progressive adulteration in the natural oils, their therapeutic efficacy is continuously deteriorated.

In this work, we have conducted an ab initio computational research of the pressure impact on the structural, elastic, thermodynamic, electronic, and optical properties of Be-based fluoroperovskite XBeF3 (X= K, Rb) compounds by using GGA+ PBEsol functional based on DFT in the CASTEP Package. These compounds' ground state characteristics were examined, including the lattice parameters, coefficient compressibility (B), and its pressure derivative(B'). Structural characterization shows that these compounds keep a cubic crystal structure with the impact of stress till 18 GPa.

The performance of SWAT and ANN models was assessed during calibration (1985-2005) and validation (2006-2010) periods via statistical indicators such as coefficient of determination (R), Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE), percent bias (PBIAS), and root-mean-square error (RMSE). R, NSE, PBIAS, and RMSE values for SWAT (ANN with Architecture (2,27,1)) models during calibration are 0.
