Purpose: The purpose is to compare visual parameters between normal and amblyopic eyes in anisometropic amblyopia and to find predictive factors for occlusion therapy.
Methods: Sixty patients with anisometropic amblyopia between the ages of 5 and 25 years were enrolled in the prospective, longitudinal, and interventional study. Patients were selected based on no improvement with spectacle correction alone after 1 month of follow-up.

After a thorough review of the literature, the researchers adopted a simple cost-effective technique of AC joint reconstruction for acute ACJI requiring surgery.
Methods: This was a prospective single-center study conducted between April 2017 and April 2018.

Macrodystrophia lipomatosa (ML) is a rare, non-hereditary, developmental anomaly that occurs because of the progressive proliferation of all mesenchymal elements of single or multiple digits or entire extremity, with a disproportionate increase in fibroadipose tissue. Commonly one or few digits of an extremity will be enlarged and present as macrodactyly or as enlarged limb. Lower limb involvement is more common and frequently unilateral.

Black hairy tongue (BHT) also called as lingua villosa nigra, is a self limiting benign condition characterized by hypertrophy and elongation of filiform papillae of tongue with brown or black discoloration. Smoking, poor oral hygiene, xerostomia, using peroxide containing mouth washes, substance abuse and drugs (steroids, methyldopa, olanzapine, etc) are the predisposing factors. However its occurrence in relation to linezolid ingestion among south Indians has not been reported in PubMed database.
