Background And Objectives: Assessing treatment response in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) tumors necessitates developing more objective and quantitative approaches. A machine learning-based approach is presented in this exploratory study for GBM patients' treatment response assessment based on radiomics extracted from magnetic resonance (MR) images.
Methods: MR images from 77 GBM patients were acquired at two post-surgery stages and preprocessed.

Background: Atherosclerosis is an arterial blood vessel disease that begins and progresses by turning macrophages into foam cells. Uptake of oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL), cholesterol esterification and cholesterol efflux are the most important factors in the formation of foam cells and play an important role in atherosclerosis.
Methods: The present study is based on the data obtained from the PubMed database (1961-2024) using the MeSH search terms "Atherosclerosis", "Macrophages" and "Foam cells".

Background And Aims: Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a rare neurological disorder in the pediatric population which is defined as an increase in intracranial pressure (ICP) without the presence of brain parenchymal lesions, hydrocephalus, or central nervous system infection. In this study, we have determined the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in IIH patients.
Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted using the electronic databases including Web of Sciences, Scopus, and Pubmed to identify suitable and relevant articles using keyword search methods.

Introduction: Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common cancers worldwide. PCa diagnosis is mostly based on solid biopsy and prostate-specific antigen (PSA), which have the disadvantages of being invasive and insensitive, respectively. Recently, the detection of microRNAs (miRNAs) in expressed prostatic secretions (EPS) has been a promising approach for PCa diagnosis.

Background: Radiomic feature reproducibility assessment is critical in radiomics-based image biomarker discovery. This study aims to evaluate the impact of preprocessing parameters on the reproducibility of magnetic resonance image (MRI) radiomic features extracted from gross tumor volume (GTV) and high-risk clinical tumor volume (HR-CTV) in cervical cancer (CC) patients.
Methods: This study included 99 patients with pathologically confirmed cervical cancer who underwent an MRI prior to receiving brachytherapy.
