Background: Trabeculectomy (TRAB) traditionally has been the gold-standard surgical treatment for primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), while gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT) is an emerging minimally invasive surgery used for the treatment of various open-angle glaucoma (OAG) types. In this study, we aimed to compare the efficacy and safety between GATT and TRAB for the treatment of POAG.
Methods: This cohort study included eyes with POAG that underwent a single GATT (30 eyes) or TRAB (34 eyes).

Purpose: This study aims to present a case involving intermittent bleeding from the iridocorneal angle following gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT) surgery, followed by the development of ghost cell glaucoma (GCG).
Methods: A 25-year-old man with a history of post-traumatic angle recession glaucoma underwent uneventful 360° GATT surgery.
Results: Two weeks after the surgery, while the reason for the incomplete resolution of hyphema remained unclear, intermittent bleeding from the iridocorneal angle and hemorrhage in the inferior vitreous were observed during the patient's follow-up examination.

Methods: This retrospective analysis focused on post-keratoplasty patients treated with ABiC with the iTrack microcatheter (Nova Eye Medical, Fremont, CA, USA) at a single institution. The study assessed the procedure's impact on IOP control, graft survival, and reliance on topical hypotensive medications, with additional observation for any postoperative complications.

Minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) offers options for glaucoma treatment that have generally improved safety profiles compared with filtering surgery. MIGS vary in design and procedure, but all angle-based MIGS function by bypassing or removing aqueous humor outflow resistance at the level of the trabecular meshwork. This can lower intraocular pressure but also remove the blood-aqueous barrier.

Purpose: To report the rates and risk factors for layered hyphemas after goniotomy (PG) and trabecular bypass stent (PTBS) surgery combined with phacoemulsification.
Methods: Patient data was obtained using a retrospective chart review from adult patients (18 years of age or older) undergoing either PG or PTBS at the West Virginia University Eye Institute between 2013 and 2023. Generalized estimating equations were used to identify significant predictors of layered hyphema on post-operative day one.

Introduction: To assess the efficacy and safety of retrocorneal membrane interception (RMI)-enhanced penetrating canaloplasty in glaucoma secondary to iridocorneal endothelial syndrome (GS-ICE) with open angle or small peripheral anterior synechiae (PAS).
Methods: A series of 13 patients (13 eyes) with GS-ICE and uncontrolled intraocular pressure (IOP) underwent RMI-enhanced penetrating canaloplasty from March 2019 to October 2020. The patients were followed up at one week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months, postoperatively.

To report the surgical safety of reinforced bio-interventional cyclodialysis with scleral allograft reinforcement. This was a consecutive case series of 243 eyes with open-angle glaucoma who underwent a bio-scaffolded cyclodialysis (BSC) procedure for uveoscleral outflow enhancement using allogeneic bio-spacers to maintain patency of the internal filtration conduit. 79% of the eyes underwent concomitant phacoemulsification cataract surgery prior to BSC intervention, while the remaining eyes underwent stand-alone BSC surgery.
