Auxin/indole-3-acetic acid () is a transcriptional repressor in the auxin signaling pathway that plays a role in several plant growth and development as well as fruit and embryo development. However, it is unclear what role they play in Japanese apricot () fruit development and maturity. To investigate the role of genes in fruit texture, development, and maturity, we comprehensively identified and expressed 19 genes, and demonstrated their conserved domains and homology across species.

Pyranopyrazoles are bicyclic nitrogen-containing heterocycles having broadspectrum bioactivities, which may act as anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, insecticidal and molluscicidal agents. Pyranopyrazoles have become an attractive scaffold for the discovery of new drugs due to the diverse range of bioactivities associated with this nucleus. In this review, we have focused on the medicinal importance of pyranopyrazole derivatives and highlighted different routes for the synthesis of pyranopyrazole derivatives using inexpensive and commonly available starting materials.

To attain ecological sustainability and transition to sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), effective technological innovation (TI) and solid waste management (SWM), as likely impending resources, are essential components. From 2000 through 2021, a detailed map of SSCMs in the context of TI and systematic history will be created, highlighting the most significant research themes and trends, primary features, development, and possibly relevant areas for future study. Due to utilizing bibliometric analysis, text mining, and content analytics methodologies, the following concerns were addressed: (1) How has SSCM research progressed over time in the TI domain? (2) Which SSCM research areas and trends receive the most attention in the TI domain? Additionally, (3) what are the research directions for SSCM in the context of TI? As a result, bibliometric networks were developed and examined using 983 journal articles from the Scopus database to highlight the substantial body of literature.

Sensitivity analysis of greenhouse gas emissions at farm level: case study of grain and cash crops.

Environ Sci Pollut Res Int

November 2022

Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, 13 82071, USA.

Sensitivity analysis is useful to downgrade/upgrade the number of inputs to limit greenhouse emissions and enhance crop yield. The primary data from the 300 rice (grain crop) and 300 cotton (cash crop) farmers were gathered in face-to-face interviews by applying a multistage random sampling technique using a well-structured pretested questionnaire. Energy use efficiency was estimated with data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, and a second-stage regression analysis was conducted by applying Cobb-Douglas production function to evaluate the influencing factors affecting.

Breast cancer (BC) is the second leading cause of death among women, and it has become a global health issue due to the increasing number of cases. Different treatment options, including radiotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy and anti-estrogen therapy, aromatase inhibitors, anti-angiogenesis drugs, and anthracyclines, are available for BC treatment. However, due to its high occurrence and disease progression, effective therapeutic options for metastatic BC are still lacking.

In recent years, there are many new definitions that were proposed related to fractional derivatives, and with the help of these definitions, mathematical models were established to overcome the various real-life problems. The true purpose of the current work is to develop and analyze Atangana-Baleanu (AB) with Mittag-Leffler kernel and Atangana-Toufik method (ATM) of fractional derivative model for the Smoking epidemic. Qualitative analysis has been made to `verify the steady state.

The interaction of warming and soil texture on responsiveness of the key soil processes . organic carbon (C) fractions, soil microbes, extracellular enzymes and CO emissions remains largely unknown. Global warming raises the relevant question of how different soil processes will respond in near future, and what will be the likely regulatory role of texture? To bridge this gap, this work applied the laboratory incubation method to investigate the effects of temperature changes (10-50 °C) on dynamics of labile, recalcitrant and stable C fractions, soil microbes, microbial biomass, activities of extracellular enzymes and CO emissions in sandy and clayey textured soils.

Protective effect of jasmonic acid and potassium against cadmium stress in peas ( L.).

Saudi J Biol Sci

April 2022

Department of Plant Sciences, College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.

A combination of mineral nutrients and plant growth regulators should be assessed to improve crop performance under various abiotic stresses. There is a need to include plant growth regulators in fertilization regime of various crops along with essential mineral nutrients, especially when they are irrigated with polluted water with higher levels of heavy metals. The performance of pea was evaluated under cadmium (Cd) stress coupled with potassium (K) and jasmonic acid (JA) supplementation.

Medicinal plants have great importance to the consumer health, as beside beneficial compounds, plants can accumulate essential and nonessential metals from soil and surrounding environments, leading to consumer health risks. Assuming this, the present study is aimed at evaluating the elemental composition and daily dose standardization based on essential and nonessential trace element presence in of bark, leaves, and roots of Ahrendt, a common medicinal plant used as a folk medicine in the region. Atomic absorption and flame emission spectroscopy were performed to analyze the presence of essential and nonessential elements manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), lead (Pb), nickel (Ni), iron (Fe), sodium (Na), and potassium (K).
