Introduction: -mutant NSCLC is associated with low mutation burden and low levels of PD-L1 expression. We conducted a phase 2 trial to determine the efficacy of durvalumab, tremelimumab, and platinum-pemetrexed in mutant NSCLC after progression with EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs).
Methods: Participants were treated with induction durvalumab, tremelimumab, and platinum-pemetrexed, followed by durvalumab-pemetrexed maintenance.

The constant-pH Monte Carlo method is a popular algorithm to study acid-base equilibria in coarse-grained simulations of charge regulating soft matter systems including weak polyelectrolytes and proteins. However, the method suffers from systematic errors in simulations with explicit ions, which lead to a symmetry-breaking between chemically equivalent implementations of the acid-base equilibrium. Here, we show that this artifact of the algorithm can be corrected a-posteriori by simply shifting the pH-scale.

Across two experiments, we implemented a novel gaze-contingent eye-tracking paradigm to investigate the early emergence of memory benefits from active control over exploration and to examine how exploratory behaviours affect memory formation in early development. Toddlers (experiment 1: = 36, 18-36 months; experiment 2: = 41, 23-36 months) were either allowed to actively control their exploration (active condition) or presented with the same information that they could only passively observe (passive condition in experiment 1; yoked condition in experiment 2). Objective: This study investigated spaced transcranial direct current stimulation for major depressive disorder, focusing on feasibility.
Methods: In a prospective open-label study, 30 participants with major depressive disorder were enrolled to receive a 50-session transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) treatment over 2 weeks. The feasibility, safety, tolerability, and preliminary therapeutic effects of this tDCS protocol were assessed using the 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAM-D-17) and the Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) at baseline and 1-week and 4-week follow-ups, as well as with the 6-item HAM-D (HAM-D-6) daily during treatment.

A tandem catalytic ensemble of solid-state molecular organometallic (SMOM) crystalline pre-catalysts are deployed under batch or flow conditions for the ethene to propene process (ETP). These catalysts operate at ambient temperature and low pressure, via sequential ethene dimerization, butenes isomerization and cross-metathesis. Under flow conditions the on-stream ethene conversion (55%), initial propene selectivity (92%), stability (71% selectivity after 7 hrs) and low temperature/pressures are competitive with the best-in-class heterogenous systems, marking a new, in crystallo, approach to ETP.

Herein we describe the electrochemical iodination in nitromethane with BuNI as iodine source and supporting electrolyte under Lewis acid-free conditions in the presence of small amounts of chloride anions. The electrochemically generated reagent could be applied for the iodination of halogenated arenes, aromatic aldehydes, acids, esters, ketones, as well as nitroarenes to afford the products in good to excellent yields.

Tarlatamab is a bispecific T-cell engager immunotherapy targeting delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3) and the cluster of differentiation 3 (CD3) molecule. In the phase 2 DeLLphi-301 trial of tarlatamab for patients with previously treated small cell lung cancer, tarlatamab 10 mg every 2 weeks achieved durable responses and encouraging survival outcomes. Analyses of updated safety data from the DeLLphi-301 trial demonstrated that the most common treatment-emergent adverse events were cytokine release syndrome (53%), pyrexia (38%), decreased appetite (36%), dysgeusia (32%), and an emia (30%).
