Background And Objective: To introduce potential static tabular and graphical techniques for visually presenting overlap between systematic reviews (SRs) included in overviews of systematic reviews (OoSRs).
Methods: The graphical approaches described include Venn and Euler diagrams, as well as matrix-based, node-link, and aggregation-based techniques. We used fundamental concepts of mathematics from set and network theory to develop our novel graphical approaches.

Objective: Our aim was to evaluate the effect of adalimumab on work productivity measures, overall activity impairment, and sleep quality in patients with active moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), or ankylosing spondylitis (AS) treated in routine care settings in Greece and determine factors associated with work impairment and sleep disturbance.
Methods: Patients with active moderate to severe RA ( = 184), PsA ( = 166), and AS ( = 150) were enrolled in this 24-month, prospective, observational study at 80 hospital outpatient clinics and private practices throughout Greece. Patients received adalimumab alone or in combination with standard antirheumatic therapies according to routine care.

The quest for dietary patterns and supplements efficient in down-regulating prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentrations among men with prostate cancer (PCa) or increased PCa risk has been long. Several antioxidants, including lycopene, selenium, curcumin, coenzyme Q10, phytoestrogens (including isoflavones and flavonoids), green tea catechins, cernitin, vitamins (C, E, D) and multivitamins, medicinal mushrooms (), fruit extracts (saw palmetto, cranberries, pomegranate), walnuts and fatty acids, as well as combined supplementations of all, have been examined in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in humans, on the primary, secondary, and tertiary PCa prevention level. Despite the plethora of trials and the variety of examined interventions, the evidence supporting the efficacy of most dietary factors appears inadequate to recommend their use.

HbA1c is a biomarker with a central role in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with diabetes, although not a perfect one. Common comorbidities encountered in patients with diabetes mellitus, such as renal insufficiency, high output states (iron deficiency anaemia, haemolytic anaemia, haemoglobinopathies and pregnancy) and intake of specific drugs could compromise the sensitivity and specificity of the biomarker. COVID-19 pandemic poses a pressing challenge for the diabetic population, since maintaining optimal blood glucose control is key to reduce morbidity and mortality rates.

The regimen of 5-azacytidine for patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) has remained unchanged since its first approval. Although several modifications have since been made and delays and dose reductions are common especially during the first treatment cycles, there are minimal data on the prognostic effect of these modifications. In this study, based on data from 897 patients with MDS treated with 5-azacytidine recorded in a national registry, the effect of treatment delays and dose reductions on response, transformation to acute myeloid leukaemia, and survival (after 5-azacytidine initiation, OS ) were analysed.

Allele specific antibody response against the polymorphic system of HLA is the allogeneic response marker determining the immunological risk for graft acceptance before and after organ transplantation and therefore routinely studied during the patient's workup. Experimentally, bead bound antigen- antibody reactions are detected using a special multicolor flow cytometer (Luminex). Routinely for each sample, antibody responses against 96 different HLA antigen groups are measured simultaneously and a 96-dimensional immune response vector is created.

Background: The total endovascular approach is in current evolution, and many series have described variable outcomes for branched technology, chimney techniques, or fenestrated repair; and even a combination of some of them. We aim to describe the current outcomes on physician-modified endograft for the treatment of arch diseases.
Methods: The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines were used for this systematic review.

Background: Reports from countries severely hit by the COVID-19 pandemic suggest a decline in acute coronary syndrome (ACS)-related hospitalizations. The generalizability of this observation on ACS admissions and possible related causes in countries with low COVID-19 incidence are not known.
Hypothesis: ACS admissions were reduced in a country spared by COVID-19.

Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) secondary to benign prostate obstruction (BPO) afflict a very large part of the population on a global scale. Urologists confront patients with a diversity of BPH-related symptoms in their daily practice. For years, the cornerstone of obstructive BPH treatment consisted of mostly medical and to a lesser extent surgical therapies.

Background: The use of EndoAnchors is increasing; however, not much about appropriate use in terms of aortic wall penetration (AWP) is described. We aim to evaluate the procedural and anatomical conditions related with borderline (b) or absence (ab) of AWP when checked on first CT-scan after the Endosutured aortic repair (ESAR) for hostile neck anatomies (HNA).
Methods: This study with NCT04100499 is a single center prospective evaluation of patients receiving EndoAnchors for prevention or treatment of a proximal EVAR failure.

Higher-risk Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) patients undergoing treatment with 5-azacytidine (AZA) are typically elderly with several comorbidities. However, the effect of comorbidities on the effectiveness and safety of AZA in real-world settings remains unclear. We analyzed data from 536 AZA-treated patients with higher-risk MDS, Myelodysplastic/Myeloproliferative neoplasms and low blast count Acute Myeloid Leukemia enrolled to the Hellenic National Registry of Myelodysplastic and Hypoplastic Syndromes.

Heart Failure Unit, Department of Cardiology, Attikon University Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, Athens, Greece.
Heart failure (HF) and atrial fibrillation (AF) often coexist, being closely interrelated as the one increases the prevalence and incidence and worsens the prognosis of the other. Their frequent coexistence raises several challenges, including under-diagnosis of HF with preserved ejection fraction in AF and of AF in HF, characterization and diagnosis of atrial cardiomyopathy, target and impact of rate control therapy on outcomes, optimal rhythm control strategy in the era of catheter ablation, HF-related thromboembolic risk and management of anticoagulation in patients with comorbidities, such as chronic kidney disease or transient renal function worsening, coronary artery disease or acute coronary syndromes, valvular or structural heart disease interventions and cancer. In the present document, derived by an expert panel meeting, we sought to focus on the above challenging issues, outlining the existing evidence and identifying gaps in knowledge that need to be addressed.
