Material And Methods: A total of 122 patients with bilateral ovarian endometrioma undergoing laparoscopic cystectomy were assigned to control or the VIT group. Coagulation-event count and blood loss were recorded.

Purpose: To investigate the effect of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) on the ability of stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED) to promote osteoclastogenesis.
Methods: SHED were obtained from deciduous teeth and isolated, purified, cultured in vitro. An indirect co-culture system of SHED and osteoclast precursor peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) was established.

Purpose: To understand E6 associated protein (E6-AP)'s influence on prostate cancer cell proliferation and infiltration, thus providing the theoretical basis for developing therapeutic drugs for prostate cancer metastasis to the bone.
Methods: Electroporation was performed to introduce linear regulatory plasmid PrevTet-off-in and conjugative plasmid PrevTRE2-flag-E6AP into prostate cancer cell line to establish wild-type E6-AP over-expressing transgenic LNCaP cell line; Western blot assay was adopted to examine expression levels of E6-AP, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), protein kinase B (Akt), and phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K); PI3K inhibitor LY294002 was applied to all the cells and MTT assay was used to measure cell proliferation; Matrigel invasion chamber assay was adopted to detect cancer cell migration and invasion.
Results: Stably transfected LNCaP cells that over expressed E6-AP had higher expression levels of PI3K, Akt, and mTOR than control LNCaP cells; MTT assay showed that E6-AP-LNCaP cells were more responsive to the inhibitory effect of LY294002; Matrigel invasion chamber assay revealed increased cell crawling and adhesiveness of E6-AP-LNCaP cells.

Purpose: To summarize the clinical and imaging features of malignant tumors in parotid gland.
Methods: Four hundred and twelve cases were collected in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery and department of otolaryngology head & neck surgery of general hospital of Chinese PLA and department of oral and maxillofacial surgery of first affiliated hospital of Dalian medical university.
Results: The top three malignant tumors were mucoepidermoid carcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma and acinic cell carcinoma in parotid gland.

Purpose: This study was to investigate the effect of the digital computer-assisted technique in orthognathic surgery.
Methods: Twelve patients from January 2008 to December 2011 with jaw malformation were treated in our department. With the help of CT and three-dimensional reconstruction technique, 12 patients underwent surgical treatment and the results were evaluated after surgery.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of computer-aided surgical techniques in surgical treatment of cranio-maxillofacial fibrous dysplasia.
Methods: Twenty-two patients from January 1999 to December 2012 with cranio-maxillofacial fibrous dysplasia were treated in our department. According to the patients' specific conditions, surgeons designed surgical programs, and used computer-assisted surgical techniques to produce skull model and navigation template individually.

Purpose: To explore the effect of insulin on the expression of peroxiredoxin-6 in osteogenic differentiation of rat's mandibular bone marrow stromal cells(rBMSCs) in high glucose.
Methods: Bone marrow stromal cells were obtained from the mandible of Wistar rats and stimulated in three glucose concentrations mineral medium(5.5 mmol/L, 25 mmol/L and 45 mmol/L) with or without insulin(10-5mol/L) for 1, 3, 7, 14, and 21 days.

Purpose: The investigate the effect of high glucose on proliferation, total protein synthesis, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activities, collagen-I(Col-I) and osteocalcin(OCN) secretion of human periodontal ligament fibroblast(hPDLF) in vitro and the regulative function of insulin in this process.
Methods: Glucose of different concentration (5.5,15,25,35and 45mmol/L) was used to culture hPDLF and insulin was used for each group as treatment control.
