Background/objectives: The aim of the study is to present middle-term results of tailored bone and soft-tissue surgeries in subluxated and dislocated hips in children affected by cerebral palsy.

Methods: A total of 87 medical records belonging to 73 children affected by CP, treated with combined soft-tissue releases, VDO, and pelvic osteotomy, were reviewed retrospectively. This retrospective, observational, multicenter, chart-review study aims to provide real-life data on the effectiveness and safety of SII-ONCO-BCG in patients with intermediate- and high-risk NMIBC.

Methods: From January 2016 to December 2023, medical records from six hospital centers were reviewed for adult patients with histologically confirmed stage Ta or T1 NMIBC (with or without carcinoma in situ [CIS]) who received at least one maintenance course of SII-ONCO-BCG after induction.

Non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) represents a significant cause of heart failure, defined as the presence of left ventricular (LV) dilatation and systolic dysfunction unexplained solely by abnormal loading conditions or coronary artery disease. Research Question: The EANS Neuro-oncology Section felt that a survey detailing the European neurosurgical perspective on the concept of expertise in surgical neuro-oncology might be helpful.

Material And Methods: The EANS Neuro-oncology Section panel developed an online survey asking questions regarding criteria for expertise in neuro-oncological surgery and sent it to all individual EANS members.

Marfan Syndrome Associated With Acute Myocardial Infarction in the First Trimester of Pregnancy.

Marfan syndrome (MFS) is a rare hereditary connective tissue disorder with autosomal dominant inheritance associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular complications due to connective tissue fragility. Acute myocardial infarction during pregnancy is also a rare event associated with poor maternal and fetal outcomes.
