Nasoalveolar cysts, which originate from epithelial remnants of nasolacrimal duct, are nonodontogenic soft tissue lesions of the upper jaw. These cysts are thought to be developmental and are presented with fullness in the upper lip and nose, swelling on the palate, and sometimes nasal obstruction. Because of cosmetic problems, they are often diagnosed at an early stage.

Purpose: The present study was performed to share personal experiences and to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of anterior cervical osteophytes surgical procedures.
Methods: The operative records of anterior cervical osteophytes patients who did not benefit from conventional treatments and underwent osteophytectomy were analyzed retrospectively. Transoral and transcervical anterolateral methods were applied, considering both the localization of the osteophyte and the patient's preference.

Objectives: Transnasal esophagoscopy (TNE) is a relatively new diagnostic procedure in the evaluation of patients with globus sensation and dysphagia. Enabling doctors to examine all of the upper aerodigestive system without the need for sedation, this technique is becoming more popular among otolaryngology specialists. The aim of this study is to evaluate the practicability of TNE and tolerability of patients to the test.

Aim of this study is to assess the efficacy, safety, and long-term results of doppler-guided hemorrhoidal artery ligation procedure with a 7-year follow-up period for treatment of grade II and III degree hemorrhoidal diseases. The procedure was performed by a specially designed proctoscope to locate and ligate all terminal branches of superior rectal artery. Patients were followed up at postoperative 1st week and 3rd, 12th, and 24th months by physical examination and 7th year by phone questionnaire using Short Form-36.

Although the origin of cardiac syndrome X (CSX) is still debated, endothelial dysfunction leading to reduced coronary microvascular dilatory response and increased coronary resistance is thought to have an important role in the pathogenesis. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is associated with risk factors resulting in endotelial dysfunction. Although the relationship between cardiovascular disease and ED has been well established; the relation between CSX and ED has not been extensively studied so far.

Background: Wasp stings have been demonstrated to cause a wide spectrum of allergic reactions from localised reactions to anaphylaxis. Acute coronary syndromes have been described as potential complications of anaphylactic reactions or some of the drugs used for the treatment of anaphylaxis. We know of only a few cases reported of acute myocardial infarction (MI) following corticosteroid administration or anaphylaxis in subjects with normal coronary arteries.

Doppler-guided hemorrhoidal artery ligation (DGHAL) is a nonexcisional surgical technique for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease, consisting of the ligation of the distal branches of the superior rectal artery, resulting in a reduction of blood flow and decongestion of hemorrhoidal plexus resulting in fibrosis. The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy and safety of DGHAL, define its indications, and identify its possible advantages and limitations for the treatment of second- and third-degree hemorrhoids. The procedure was performed using a specially designed proctoscope.
