Material And Method: The study included 26 female and 33 male patients (age mean: 38,4 years) with cysts larger than 3 cm in the posterior region of the mandible who were admitted to the same center. Two groups in treatment technique: marsupialization (n = 29) and enucleation (n = 30).

The effect of ocular dominance on choroidal structures.

This study aimed to compare the dominant and non-dominant eyes of healthy individuals in terms of CT and CVI values to assess the effect of ocular dominance on choroidal morphology. Three hundred eyes of 150 individuals were included in this study. All patients underwent routine ophthalmological examinations and hole-in-the-card tests to determine the dominant eye.

Effects of Boron Supplementation in Dairy Cow Close-Up Rations on Colostrum Quality and Certain Blood Metabolites in Calves.

In this study, we aimed to investigate the effects of different levels of boron supplementation to the diet  during the close-up period and the first postpartum day on postpartum colostrum quality, immunoglobulin levels in colostrum, and certain calf blood parameters in dairy cattle (n = 21). Two experimental groups and one control (C) group were formed. Boron at 300 ppm (T-300) and 600 ppm (T-600) was added to the experimental rations.

The Effect of Cervical Cancer Education Given to Women in Turkey on Knowledge, Attitudes, and Health Beliefs: A Randomized Controlled Study.

Objective: The objective of this study was to ascertain the impact of cervical cancer education provided to women in Turkey on their knowledge, attitudes, and health beliefs.

Design: The study was conducted in accordance with the pretest-posttest randomized controlled trial model.

Sample: The participants were randomly assigned to either the experimental or the control groups.

Chemical composition alterations in rat brain hypothalamus induced by irisin administration using spectroscopic and machine learning techniques.

This study employed Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy to determine the chemical composition of brain tissues and the changes induced by irisin at doses of 50 mg and 100 mg. Brain tissues were collected from control rats and those administered with irisin, and key vibrational peaks were analyzed. In the 50 mg irisin group, all described vibrations decreased compared to control tissues, while the 100 mg group showed a decrease only in lipid vibrations.

An Analytical Comparison of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma Patients Manifested with or without Graves' Disease.

Objectives: There is still no clear relationship between the presence of Graves' disease (GD) and the development of papillary thyroid carcinoma. The aim of this study was to compare the clinicopathologic features of patients diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) with thyroid nodules and GD and patients with PTC with thyroid nodules but without autoimmune thyroid disease.

Methods: The study was designed in a retrospective manner and included a cohort of 239 patients with PTC who underwent total thyroidectomy.

This study aimed to determine the efficacy of BETY combined with telerehabilitation for people living with HIV (PLWH).

Henoch-Schönlein Purpura in a Patient with AIDS: A Case Report and Literature Review.

In this paper, we reported a 27-year-old man presenting with Henoch-Schönlein purpura in an acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) patient with Kaposi sarcoma. He died from sepsis-related organ failures in the hospital. Relevant literature was also discussed to illustrate this disease.

Reliability and Cross-Cultural Validation of the Turkish Version of the Visual Function Classification System (VFCS) for Children with Cerebral Palsy.

Purpose: This correlational study aimed to determine the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Visual Function Classification System (VFCS) for children with CP.

Method: Two physiotherapists and caregivers ( = 56) applied the VFCS ( = 120) two times at a 15-day interval. Physiotherapists' classifications were compared for interrater reliability.

The regenerative effect of exosomes isolated from mouse embryonic fibroblasts in mice created as a sciatic nerve crush injury model.

Background: Exosomes (Exos) are candidates for functional recovery and regeneration following sciatic nerve crushed (SNC) injury due to their composition which can accelerate tissue regeneration. Therefore, mouse embryonic fibroblast-derived exosomes were evaluated for their regenerative capacity in SNC injury.

Methods And Results: In the study, 40 Balb/c males (20 ± 5 g) and two pregnant mice (for embryonic fibroblast tissue) were used and crushed injury was induced in the left sciatic nerve with an aneurysm clamp.

This systematic review and meta-analysis examines the effectiveness of science-based mobile apps for reducing anxiety. A systematic review was employed to identify experimental studies on science-based mobile applications developed anxiety disorders. International databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, SCOPUS and ProQuest were searched to locate relevant articles.

Ultrasonographic Assessment of Masseter and Anterior Temporal Muscle Thickness and Internal Structure in Young Adult Patients With Bruxism.

Objective: The current study is a comparative cross-sectional analysis study to determine the thickness and internal structure of the masseter muscle (MM) and anterior temporal muscle (ATM) in patients with bruxism by ultrasonography (USG).

Materials And Methods: A total of 100 patients (36 males, 64 females), 50 with bruxism and 50 without bruxism, aged 20-30 years were included in the study. All patients were investigated with MM and ATM USG.
