Expression and clinical significance of IL-8 and Wnt2 in Helicobacter pylori-infected gastric cancer patients.

Introduction: We assessed the expression levels of interleukin-8 (IL-8) and Wnt2 in Helicobacter pylori-infected gastric cancer (GC) patients, and investigated the association of these proteins with prognosis.

Methodology: Seventy-two GC patients, including 40 cases with H. pylori infection and 32 cases without H.

The effect of embryo selection using time-lapse monitoring on IVF/ICSI outcomes: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Aim: To explore the effect of embryo selection using the time-lapse monitoring (TLM) system compared with conventional morphological selection (CMS) on in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) outcomes.

Methods: We searched PubMed, Ovid-Embase, and The Cochrane Library for the following studies: At Comparison 1, embryo selection using TLM images in a TLM incubator based on morphology versus embryo selection using CMS in a conventional incubator based on morphology; at Comparison 2, embryo selection using TLM based on morphokinetics versus embryo selection using CMS based on morphology. The primary outcomes were the live birth rate (LBR), ongoing pregnancy rate (OPR), clinical pregnancy rate (CPR), and implantation rate (IR), and the secondary outcome was the miscarriage rate (MR).

Background: Primary liver cancer is a malignant tumour of the digestive system, ranking second in cancer mortality in China. In different types of cancer, such as liver cancer, microRNAs (miRNAs) have been shown to be dysregulated. However, little is known about the role of miR-5195-3p in insulin-resistant liver cancer.

Value of biomarkers in epithelial-mesenchymal transition models of liver cancer under different interventions: a meta-analysis.

A meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of crucial biomarkers in HepG2 cells during epithelial-mesenchymal transformation induced by multiple interventions. PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Wan Fang Data and VIP databases were systematically searched from inception to 14 June 2020, by two independent reviewers. A total of 58 studies were included in the meta-analysis.
