Introduction And Aims: Arterial pseudoaneurysm is a rare yet potentially life-threatening complication that can arise as a late sequelae of penetrating injuries or orthopaedic procedures. We aim at sharing our institutional experience of managing 18 cases of lower limb arterial pseudoaneurysms in orthopaedic practice and to provide technical tips for emergency management of severe bleeding. A comprehensive literature review resulting from fractures and orthopaedic surgeries is also presented.

Objectives: Among numerous arthroscopic reduction and internal fixation (ARIF) techniques for displaced posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) avulsions, residual posterior laxity and non-unions are under reported and the optimal technique is still unclear. The objective of our study is to differentiate the outcomes of arthroscopic suture pull-out(SPO) versus augmented suture pull-out(ASPO) using suture button for acute displaced tibial PCL avulsion fractures.
Methods: Retrospective study of ARIF for displaced tibial PCL avulsion operated between 2015 to 2021.

Objective: To analyze intraoperative neuromonitoring data of patients with degenerative cervical myelopathy undergoing cervical laminectomy and assess the incidence of signal drops and their risk factors.
Methods: This retrospective observational study included patients with degenerative cervical myelopathy who underwent cervical laminectomy with intraoperative neuromonitoring between July 2018 and March 2023. We analyzed the signal changes for any correlation with the type of pathology (ossified posterior longitudinal ligament vs.

Purpose: Coronal shear fractures of the distal humerus involving the capitellum and trochlea are rare injuries. Internal fixation with headless compression screws provides a stable construct facilitating early mobilisation. Our study aimed to identify the key determinants of both radiological and functional outcomes of patients with distal humerus coronal shear fractures treated with internal fixation.

Objective: To understand lumbosacral transitional vertebra (LSTV)-associated degenerative pathologies and their correlation to low back pain and radicular pain.
Methods: Whole-spine magnetic resonance imaging was evaluated for disc degeneration using Pfirrmann grading, end plate changes using total end plate score (TEPS), and facet tropism in patients with low back pain and radicular pain, and their association with LSTV was analyzed.
Results: In group 1, LSTV was seen in 15% of patients with 83% of these patients having sacralization.

Backgound: Patients with congenital stenosis of the spine (CSS) present with clinical symptoms at an early age and fewer degenerative hypertrophic changes than the more common degenerative cohort. Literature is lacking in the true prevalence of CSS affecting the 3 segments of the spine in isolation, as well as in tandem in the Indian subcontinent.
Methods: Anteroposterior spinal canal diameter in axial plane computed tomography at the midvertebral level was measured in asymptomatic patients with whole-spine computed tomography.

Peripheral nerve injuries are common and debilitating. The goals of nerve repair are to accurately approximate the fascicular tissue, whilst ensuring continuous overlying epineurium and eliminating external sprouting of neural tissue. We describe a modification of standard micro-suturing which allows superior epineural eversion and fascicular coaptation.

Open fractures are an emergency where the principal aim of the treatment is to maximise the restoration of limb function while preventing the dreaded consequences of infection and non-union. The decision-making process for open injuries is influenced by a variety of criteria, such as patient age, injury features, systemic response, activity level, comorbidities, and functional requirements. A collaborative orthoplastic approach to treating these injuries is essential for minimizing complications and need to be considered as a single specialty in early and long-term management.
