Introduction: The study aims to investigate the antifungal efficacy of albedo extract of Punica grantum on candida albicans by evaluating the inhibitory capacity of alcoholic albedo extracts by disc diffusion method and by comparing the antifungal efficacy of alcoholic extract of albedo with clotrimazole and ethanol.
Methods: Using a conventional disc diffusion method, the effectiveness of Punica Granatum albedo extract against Candida albicans was assessed and evaluated depending on the presence or absence of inhibition zones, as well as the average diameter of inhibition zones. Albedo extract of Punica granatum serial dilutions were prepared ranging from 1%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% and its antifungal efficacy was tested against Candida albicans in comparison with clotrimazole and ethanol.

Objective: The purpose of this investigation was to assess the effectiveness of various gutta-percha retrieval methods in endodontic retreatment.
Methods: Five groups were randomly allocated to extract human teeth that had already had root canal therapy: manual files, rotary tools, heat, solvents, and ultrasonics. By evaluating the amount of filling material still present, gutta-percha clearance was quantitatively examined, and root canal cleanliness was qualitatively appraised.

Periodontitis and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) are prevalent oral diseases with distinct etiologies, yet they share certain molecular and biological characteristics. Gene expression datasets from the gene expression omnibus (GEO) repository (GSE30784 for OSCC and GSE10334 for periodontitis) were analyzed. Data preprocessing and differential gene expression analysis using GEO2R identified common differentially expressed genes (DEGs), and FunRich software facilitated the construction of a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network on the STRING database.

Context: Glucose uptake may be considered the rate-limiting step for the growth and metabolism of the cancer cell. Studies on GLUT1 have shown that GLUT1 is involved in cell survival and proliferation in both healthy and pathological circumstances. GLUT1 expression is regarded as one of the crucial elements in the development of local aggressiveness, tumour invasiveness, and metastasis, particularly in malignant tumours.

Background: Almost 70% of women residing in urban areas and 48% of women in rural areas use sanitary napkins in India. According to menstrual health alliance India (MHAI), single sanitary pad will take about 500-800 years to decompose as the plastic used in manufacturing is nonbiodegradable and causes severe noxious effects contributing to global warming through the production of planet warming fuels which eventually have severe impact on environment sustainability. Hence, the study was undertaken to contribute the evidence for the "Clean and Green India".

Introduction: An instrumented and endodontically treated tooth may sometimes impede disinfection by trapping hard tissue as well as the other canal contents at the isthmus level of the canal. Thus, the current study was piloted to assess the competence of two irrigating systems.
Methods: Twenty mandibular with two mesial canals convergent into a single foramen and joined by an isthmus of the human permanent teeth were compared for the two irrigation systems of continuous and intermittent ultrasonic (US) motions of the irrigation.

Aim: To evaluate the efficiency of debris removal from the mesial root canals and isthmus of mesial roots of mandibular molars after final irrigant agitation with XP-endo Shaper, EndoVac (EV), plastic finishing file, and conventional needle irrigation.
Methods And Materials: Forty extracted human mandibular first molar teeth with the isthmus between the mesial roots were selected, access cavities were prepared and distal roots were decoronated. All the mesial root specimens were mounted in acrylic, sectioned at the coronal, middle, and apical thirds, along with the resin block, and examined for debris in the canals and isthmus before the start of the procedure using a stereomicroscope and were mounted back in a custom-made jig.

Aim And Objective: The objective of this study was to assess and compare the dimensions (width (W), height (H), and length (L)) of the tuberosity distal to maxillary permanent second molar in individuals with skeletal and dental Class I and Class II malocclusions who had maxillary third molar agenesis.
Methodology: Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) was used to measure the left (L) and right (R) anatomical tuberosity dimensions in three dimensions using the WillMaster software (HDX WILL Corporation, Korea). The measurements were compared between Class I (n = 35) and Class II (n = 35) normo-hypodivergent adult subjects.

Background: The success of pulpectomy depends on complete eradication of microbial load by cleaning and shaping the primary root canals that is difficult to achieve because of anatomical intricacy of primary pulp dentin complex. Numerous instruments were tried, however, they proved to be inadequate. Selfadjusting file (SAF) is a newer file system that facilitates less dentin removal with maximal cleansing of root canals.

Introduction: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is one of the most formidable health problems for mankind. These carcinomas are characterized by invasion of epithelial tumor cells into the stroma, which get embedded in extracellular matrix and collagen producing reactive changes. Such changes in the stroma may alter the biological aggressiveness of the tumor.
