Objective: The aim of this study was to comparatively evaluate the proliferation, differentiation and mineralization inducing potential of strontium incorporated tetracalcium phosphate cement (STTCP) and mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) on human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs).
Methods: hDPSCs were cultured from freshly extracted human premolar teeth. Cement discs (5mm×3mm) were prepared using MTA and STTCP.

Certificateless-based signcryption overcomes inherent shortcomings in traditional Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Escrow problem. It imparts efficient methods to design PKIs with public verifiability and cipher text authenticity with minimum dependency. As a classic primitive in public key cryptography, signcryption performs validity of cipher text without decryption by combining authentication, confidentiality, public verifiability and cipher text authenticity much more efficiently than the traditional approach.

We report an efficient method to biosynthesize biocompatible cadmium telluride and cadmium sulphide quantum dots from the fungus Rhizopus stolonifer. The suspension of the quantum dots exhibited purple and greenish-blue luminescence respectively upon UV light illumination. Photoluminescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy confirms the formation of the quantum dots.

Aim And Objective: C-Jun-N-terminal kinase -1 (JNK -1) is a seriene/threonine kinase protein and a member of mitogen activated protein family (MAP- Kinase). The activation of JNK-1 leads to cell proliferation, cell death, DNA repair and metabolism. In our study we aim in creating a novel JNK-1 inhibitor.

Fructose catabolism starts with phosphorylation of d-fructose to fructose 1-phosphate, which is performed by ketohexokinase (KHK). Fructose metabolism may be the key to understand the long-term consumption of fructose in human's obesity, diabetes and metabolic states in western populations. The inhibition of KHK has medicinally potential roles in fructose metabolism and the metabolic syndrome.
