Background: Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that originates from the endometrium and is more common in developed countries and its incidence is increasing day by day in developing countries. The most commonly prescribed chemotherapeutic drugs limit their use due to serious side effects and the development of drug resistance. For this reason, interest in new active ingredients obtained from natural products is increasing.

Oral, vaginal or intramuscular progesterone in programmed frozen embryo transfer cycles: a pilot randomized controlled trial.

Research Question: What should be the optimal route of luteal support in programmed frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles?

Design: This was a randomized, parallel, phase IV pilot trial with three groups of women undergoing FET along with hormone replacement therapy for endometrial preparation at a tertiary private IVF centre (NCT03948022). Women with at least one autologous cryopreserved blastocyst were included. After preparing the endometrium with oestradiol, 151 women were randomly assigned to one of the following three progesterone arms before embryo transfer: oral (10 mg) dydrogesterone (DYD), total daily dose 40 mg (n = 52); 8% (90 mg) progesterone vaginal gel (VAG), total daily dose 180 mg (n = 55); or intramuscular progesterone (IMP) 50 mg/ml in oil, total daily dose 100 mg (n = 44).

Reproductive outcomes of patients with T-Shaped and septate uterus following metroplasty: an observational study.

Introduction: Uterine malformations are common and may contribute to infertility and adverse pregnancy outcomes. After an accurate diagnosis, correcting the abnormal uterine morphology is the main goal to optimize reproductive outcomes. The principal objective of this study was to assess the impact of metroplasty for T-shaped (U1a) and septate uteri (U2) on live birth rates in infertile patients.

Methods for endometrial preparation in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles.

Frozen-thawed (FT) embryo transfer is a procedure used for the storage and transfer of excess embryos obtained during in vitro fertilization- intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycles. In recent years, improvements in laboratory conditions and limitations on the number of embryos to be transferred have led to a progressive increase in FT embryo transfer cycles. However, the best solution for endometrial preparation in these cycles is still a matter of debate.

Material And Methods: The present study was an observational trial performed in a private IVF center on subfertile couples who had applied for treatment between 2002 and 2012, in which the data of 503 IUI cases were retrospectively reviewed. Couples who had been diagnosed with unexplained and mild male subfertility were included.

Material And Methods: This was a cohort study conducted by retrospectively investigating the IVF cycles of 653 polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients under the age of 40 years who were diagnosed based on the Rotterdam criteria in a private IVF clinic between 2005 and 2015. The study included data from 653 IVF cycles of PCOS patients.
