The detrimental impact of soil salinization on crop productivity and agricultural economy has garnered significant attention. A rhizosphere bacterium with favorable salt tolerance and plant growth-promoting (PGP) functions was isolated in this work. The bacterium was identified as Enterobacter through 16 S rDNA sequencing analysis and designated as Enterobacter sp.

Urban space architectural color is the first feature to be perceived in a complex vision beyond shape, texture and material, and plays an important role in the expression of urban territory, humanity and style. However, because of the difficulty of color measurement, the study of architectural color in street space has been difficult to achieve large-scale and fine development. The measurement of architectural color in urban space has received attention from many disciplines.

Effect of C/N on the microbial interactions of aerobic granular sludge system.

J Environ Manage

January 2024

Beijing Engineering Research Center of Environmental Material for Water Purification, College of Chemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, 100029, China. Electronic address:

The main focus of this study was to evaluate the operational stability and changes in microbial interactions of aerobic granular sludge (AGS) systems at reduced C/N (16, 8 and 4). The results showed that the removal efficiency of total nitrogen and total phosphorus decreased from 95.99 ± 0.

Responses of microbial interactions and functional genes to sulfamethoxazole in anammox consortia.

J Environ Manage

December 2023

Beijing Engineering Research Center of Environmental Material for Water Purification, College of Chemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, 100029, China. Electronic address:

Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) has been widely detected in various environments and its potential environmental risks have caused great concerns. However, the impact mechanism of SMX on microbial interactions among anammox consortia remain unknown. A long-term exposure experiments (140 d) was carried out to systematically examine the influence of SMX (0-1000 μg/L) on the anammox system, especially microbial network dynamics and variations of key metabolic genes.

Background: The ray floret shapes referred to as petal types on the chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum × morifolium Ramat.) capitulum is extremely abundant, which is one of the most important ornamental traits of chrysanthemum. However, the regulatory mechanisms of different ray floret shapes are still unknown.

While point source pollutions have gradually been controlled in recent years, the non-point source pollution problem has become increasingly prominent. The receiving waters are frequently polluted by the initial stormwater from the separate stormwater system and the wastewater from sewage pipes through stormwater pipes. Consequently, calculating the intercepted runoff depth has become a problem that must be resolved immediately for initial stormwater pollution management.

Modeling carbon emissions from urban traffic system using mobile monitoring.

Sci Total Environ

December 2017

China Institute of Urban Governance, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai 200240, China; Sustainable Residential Environment Research Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai 200240, China. Electronic address:

Comprehensive analyses of urban traffic carbon emissions are critical in achieving low-carbon transportation. This paper started from the architecture design of a carbon emission mobile monitoring system using multiple sets of equipment and collected the corresponding data about traffic flow, meteorological conditions, vehicular carbon emissions and driving characteristics on typical roads in Shanghai and Wuxi, Jiangsu province. Based on these data, the emission model MOVES was calibrated and used with various sensitivity and correlation evaluation indices to analyze the traffic carbon emissions at microscopic, mesoscopic and macroscopic levels, respectively.

Event mean concentration and first flush effect from different drainage systems and functional areas during storms.

Environ Sci Pollut Res Int

March 2016

National Engineering Research Center for Urban Pollution Control, Tongji University, 1239 Siping Road, Shanghai, 200092, China.

This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of the event mean concentration (EMC) and first flush effect (FFE) during typical rainfall events in outfalls from different drainage systems and functional areas. Stormwater outfall quality data were collected from five outfalls throughout Fuzhou City (China) during 2011-2012. Samples were analyzed for water quality parameters, such as COD, NH3-N, TP, and SS.
