Urinary tract infection has long been considered a complication rather than etiology of calcium oxalate (CaOx) nephrolithiasis. This study aimed to explore the role of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), an important component of Gram-negative bacteria, on CaOx nephrolithiasis formation and antagonistic effect of melatonin. Male C57BL/6 mice were intraperitoneally injected with glyoxylate acid (80 mg/kg) daily for 7 days to construct CaOx nephrolithiasis model.

Objective: SHP2 has been promulgated to be involved in chemoresistance in a variety of cancers. However, its relationship with MRTX849-resistance in KRAS G12C mutant lung cancer has not been revealed.

Methods: Lung cancer cell lines resistant to MRTX849 were first constructed by repeated dosing over 10 months, and the parental and drug-resistant strains were evaluated for SHP2 expression at different time points (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 months).

Methods: We performed an extensive literature search using PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane in September 2022.

Risk factors for incisional complications after lumbar internal fixation via posterior midline approach: A case-control study of 455 consecutive cases.

To analyse the clinical data of patients who developed incisional complications and those who did not develop incisional complications after lumbar internal fixation, and investigate the risk factors for incisional complications in patients after lumbar internal fixation with posterior midline incision. A standardised data collection form was used to collect the clinical data of patients who were admitted and underwent lumbar internal fixation in our hospital from July 2018 to July 2021. Patients who experienced any one of the incisional complications, such as incision exudates, swelling, blisters, bruising, superficial/deep incisional infections, poor healing and scarring, after surgery were included in the incisional complication group, and patients who did not develop the above-mentioned incisional complications were included in the control group.

Methods: In this study, we explored the potential carcinogenic role of SHCBP1 across 33 tumors from the TCGA and GTEx databases. We investigated SHCBP1 expression, prognosis, genetic alterations, tumor mutational burden (TMB) score, microsatellite instability (MSI) and tumor microenvironment from TIMER2, GEPIA2, UALCAN and cBioPortal databases.

Objective: Proinflammatory cytokines are considered to be one of the key causes of haemophilic cartilage destruction by inducing chondrocyte apoptosis and extracellular matrix degradation. However, few studies have focused on how proinflammatory cytokines regulate the phenotypic changes of chondrocytes, which may be an important factor in haemophilic cartilage degradation pathogenesis.
