Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is currently difficult to treat, even when therapies are combined with immune checkpoint blockade (ICB). A novel strategy for immunotherapy would be to maximize the therapeutic potential of oncolytic viruses (OVs), which have been proven to engage the regulation of tumor microenvironment (TME) and cause-specific T-cell responses. To boost tumor sensitivity to ICB therapy, this study aimed to investigate how glutathione peroxide 4 (GPX4)-loaded OVs affect CD8 T cells and repair the immunosuppressive environment.

Percutaneous Endoscopic Transforaminal Discectomy for the Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation with Different Migration Levels: A Retrospective Study.

Objective: To investigate the surgical method and efficacy of percutaneous endoscopic transforaminal discectomy (PETD) for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH) with different migration levels by introducing the strategy of foramenoplasty with the "distal nucleus pulposus as the core".

Methods: Clinical data of LDH patients who underwent single-segment PETD surgery were retrospectively analyzed. Three groups were categorized according to the degree of nucleus pulposus migration in the sagittal position: no migration group, mild migration group, and high migration group.

Immunotherapy is less efficient for epithelial ovarian cancer and lacks ideal biomarkers to select the best beneficiaries for immunotherapy. CX3CR1 as chemokine receptor mainly expressed on immune cell membranes, and combined with its unique ligand CX3CL1, mediates tissue chemotaxis and adhesion of immune cells. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of hysteroscopic hysteroplasty in the treatment of uterine malformation complicated by primary reproductive disorders.

Methods: Women with unexplained primary infertility, repeated fertilization (IVF) failure or repeated spontaneous abortion, and uterine malformations unrelated to diethylstilbestrol who visited the obstetrics and gynecology department of our hospital from January 2019 to December 2022 were included in the prospective cohort study. Uterine malformation in the patients was confirmed by three-dimensional ultrasound and diagnostic hysteroscopy.
