Introduction: Antidepressants are useful in the pharmacological treatment of different depressive and anxiety disorders, as well as being potentially useful in other indications. The aim of the study was to determine the indications for which antidepressants are being prescribed in patients over 18 years of age registered with the Colombian Health System.

Its epidemiology is difficult to assess, although official registries are available in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico.

Methodology/principal Findings: Using official statistics, we assessed trends in NC hospitalization rates during 1998-2019 in Brazil and Ecuador, during 2004-2019 in Mexico, and during 2009-2019 in Colombia.

A rapidly emerging global outbreak of monkeypox virus infection (MPXV) in over 50 non-endemic countries was identified in May 2022. We report the case and images of a patient with MPXV presenting with genital lesions later complicated by superimposed cellulitis in Colorado, USA. MPXV lesions are susceptible to bacterial superinfection, and with the advent of new cases, the early identification of skin lesions and their evolution during MPXV are imperative for treating clinicians.
