Cervical cancer, primarily caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) transmission through sexual contact, necessitates comprehensive strategies to combat its impact on women's health. Yet, certain underserved populations, such as low socioeconomic and ethnic minority groups, encounter barriers in accessing timely interventions and early diagnosis. This cross-sectional study was conducted with the aim of assessing HPV prevalence, genotype distribution, and co-infections among 280 adult women residing in a Colombian Indigenous Reserve within the Amazon region.

In the labor context the agricultural sector has been a little neglected in terms of the implementation of policies and standards that allow maintaining low accident rates, and in the last year strategies have been established to improve this situation. The aim of this study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature on the methodologies used to plan, verify, and maintain occupational safety and health in the agricultural sector. The methodology focused on the search for information in the Scopus and Web of Science databases through a search equation, and then through inclusion and exclusion criteria to evaluate the selected articles.

Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo, Departamento de Ingenierías y Ciencias Exactas, Centro de Investigación en Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías (CICEI), C. Márquez, Esq. Parque Jorge Trigo Andia, Tupuraya, Cochabamba, Bolivia.

In Bolivia, lateritic soils are common in humid tropical regions and can be used in the construction industry as an alternative to materials that cause a negative environmental impact, such as cement. The production of Portland cement causes environmental issues like significant greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. To address this problem, geopolymers have been introduced as an alternative binder with low CO emissions.

Unlabelled: Colonoscopy screening is an effective method to prevent colon cancer through the detection of polyps on which colon cancer develops in a higher percentage; however, the detection of these lesions varies in the different segments of the colon and the detection rate of them in the right colon is usually lower.

Objective: The objective of this study is to evaluate whether double endoscopic revision of the right colon during colonoscopy is a mechanism to improve its performance in terms of polyp detection rate (TDP) and adenoma detection rate (ADR).

Materials And Methods: Systematic review and meta-analysis of the literature including randomized clinical trials that evaluated repeat right-sight examination by colonoscopy compared to standard view to improve detection of polyps and adenomas.

Tropical rainforests of Latin America (LATAM) are one of the world's largest carbon sinks, with substantial future carbon sequestration potential and contributing a major proportion of the global supply of forest carbon credits. LATAM is poised to contribute predominantly towards high-quality forest carbon offset projects designed to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, halt biodiversity loss, and provide equitable conservation benefits to people. Thus, carbon markets, including compliance carbon markets and voluntary carbon markets continue to expand in LATAM.

DEBRA International is undertaking a long-term initiative to develop clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for epidermolysis bullosa (EB), to -improve the clinical care of people living with EB. Current neonatal care is based on evidence, clinical expertise and trial and error, with collaboration between the EB specialist team, parent or carer and patient, and is dependent on the neonate's individual presentation and type of EB. Early intervention based on research and clinical practice is needed to establish a foundation of knowledge to guide international practitioners to create and improve standards of care and to be able to work effectively with those newly diagnosed with EB.

Prostate cancer is the second most common malignancy in men worldwide, with a good prognosis when is detected and treated in early stages, but, when it presents progression to castration-resistant metastatic prostate cancer, most of the cases will have bone metastasis, decreasing the quality of life and life expectancy. For the evaluation of the disease in the routinary clinical practice, Ga-PSMA PET/CT, among others is a valuable tool for the evaluation of the disease extension. Ga-PSMA PET/CT detects the presence of PSMA receptor in the tumoral tissue, but also has physiologic uptake in certain organs, such as liver, spleen, intestine, kidneys, lacrimal and salivary glands.
