Introduction: B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) in adults often presents a poor prognosis. ID1 and ID3 genes have been identified as predictors of poor response in Colombian adult B-ALL patients, contributing to cancer development. In various cancer models, these genes have been associated with immune regulatory populations within the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME).

Purpose: HER2-low has garnered significant attention for the treatment of HER2-negative breast cancer. We aimed to determine the prevalence of HER2-low expression in Hispanic/Latino women with breast cancer (BC).
Methods: We searched in Embase, LILACS, and Medline databases for articles reporting the expression of HER2 immunohistochemistry with scores reported as 0, 1+, 2+, or 3+, with equivocal cases (2+) confirmed through in situ hybridization (ISH).

Objective: To describe characteristics and reported mutations in endometrial cancer (EC) and analyze the impact of these mutations on the structure and function of the protein, as well as their relationship with the survival and prognosis of the disease.
Methods: We retrieved reported mutations for in EC from Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in Cancer database. We analyzed the most frequent mutations possible impact in the protein using HOPE server.

Introduction: Chronic low back pain is a highly prevalent condition with multiple etiologies. Cluneal nerve neuropathy is an increasingly relevant condition in the management of this condition, and radiofrequency is an alternative management option.
Methods: A case series, which included four patients who underwent ultrasound-guided conventional radiofrequency intervention of the superior cluneal nerves, using a previously undescribed technique and direction of intervention.

Despite recent advancements in colorectal cancer (CRC) treatment, particularly with the introduction of immunotherapy and checkpoint inhibitors, the efficacy of these therapies remains limited to a subset of patients. To address this challenge, our study aimed to develop a prognostic biomarker based on immune-related genes to predict better outcomes in CRC patients and aid in treatment decision-making. We comprehensively analysed immune gene expression signatures associated with CRC prognosis to construct an immune meta-signature with prognostic potential.

The ductus arteriosus aneurysm (DAA) is considered a rare anatomical alteration that consists of a dilation of this vascular structure. It has been reported that the DAA can resolve in the immediate postnatal stage and do not generate any consequences for the neonate. However, have been described some cases in which the DAA is complicated due to thromboembolic events, rupture of the lesion, respiratory symptoms, and even death.

Introduction: Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain condition prevalent in the general population. Muscular symptoms at the level of the trapezius and rhomboid muscles are frequent and the response to therapeutic interventions established so far is variable.
Methods: We present a case series of six patients who underwent a new technique of interfacial trapezius-rhomboid block (TRB) performed under ultrasonographic guidance by applying 10 cubic centimeters (cc) of analgesic solution (bupivacaine 0.

Cellular senescence in gliomas is a complex process that is induced by aging and replication, ionizing radiation, oncogenic stress, and the use of temozolomide. However, the escape routes that gliomas must evade senescence and achieve cellular immortality are much more complex, in which the expression of telomerase and the alternative lengthening of telomeres, as well as the mutation of some proto-oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes, are involved. In gliomas, these molecular mechanisms related to cellular senescence can have a tumor-suppressing or promoting effect and are directly involved in tumor recurrence and progression.

Background: Programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) is a crucial factor in predicting responses to immunotherapy. This systematic review and meta-analysis focuses on the prevalence of PD-L1 expression and clinicopathological features among Hispanic/Latino (H/L) populations.
Methods: Embase, LILACS, Medline, and Virtual Health Library were searched for studies that evaluated the prevalence of PD-L1 in H/L patients.

Objectives: The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement, first published in 2009, has been widely endorsed and compliance is high in systematic reviews (SRs) of intervention studies. SRs of prevalence studies are increasing in frequency, but their characteristics and reporting quality have not been examined in large studies. Our objectives were to describe the characteristics of SRs of prevalence studies in adults, evaluate the completeness of reporting, and explore study-level characteristics associated with the completeness of reporting.

Hyaluronic acid filler injections have been associated with early, temporary, and delayed-onset complications. High-resolution ultrasound with Doppler analysis has been increasingly used to detect and identify such complications. We comprehensively describe the most common ultrasonographic findings of nonvascular complications associated with hyaluronic acid filler injections.
