Lignin, a complex natural 3D aromatic polymer compound known for its high thermal stability, stiffness, and ability to effectively withstand chemical and biological attacks. When combined with various other natural biomass components, lignin can offer the promise of fortifying the physical, chemical, and biological stability of matrix materials, which has garnered significant interest. Herein, through the incorporation of alginate with aminated lignin using chemical and ionic double cross-linking and freeze-drying techniques, alginate-lignin composite functional foams (SA-NAL) with improved water affinity, mechanical strength, and overall service performance have been successfully developed.

By analyzing the influence of stochastic perturbation matters on vehicle path optimization, a perturbation scheduling model for logistics and distribution with a carbon tax mechanism is established under the premise of time window variation and load capacity constraints. Herein, we propose an enhanced Genetic Algorithm (GA) based on a Gaussian matrix mutation (GMM) operator, which maintains the diversity of the population while speeding up the algorithm's convergence. The model builds a Gaussian probability matrix using the site positional order distribution characteristics implied in the original site data information, and applies the Gaussian probability matrix to individual gene mutations using a roulette-wheel-selection method; thus, the study guarantees the genetic diversity of the population while guiding it to evolve in the high-fitness direction.

Urban agglomerations, such as the Yangtze River Delta, Yangtze River Middle Reaches, and Chengdu-Chongqing regions, play a crucial role in driving China's regional economic development. While previous studies have focused on economic and social aspects, the fiscal dimension of urban agglomerations remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by investigating the relationship between population size and fiscal efficiency in these three major urban agglomerations along the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB).

Under the "dual-carbon" strategic goals, it is urgent to examine whether the energy consumption permit trading scheme (ECPTS), as an innovative system in China's market-oriented reform of the energy sector, can promote the synergistic enhancement of pollution reduction and carbon abatement. Based on provincial panel data of China from 2008 to 2019, this study adopted a difference-in-differences model to examine the impacts of the ECPTS on the synergistic enhancement of pollution reduction and carbon abatement. The results demonstrated that the ECPTS improved the level of pollution reduction and carbon abatement in pilot areas.

A transition to a more sustainable society is occurring worldwide and necessitates a change in people's ways of consuming. Self-transcendence (ST) is recognized as a key predictor of green consumption. Thus, a multiple intermediary model was developed to clarify the psychological mechanisms underlying ST and its influence on consumption.

The cold chain supply chain of e-commerce has the characteristics of long chain, dispersed production, heterogeneous information sources, etc., which is easy to cause the upstream and downstream information of the supply chain to be broken and opaque. Traditional traceability data is stored in each node enterprise, and there are problems such as low cooperation trust and poor authenticity in the upstream and downstream data transmission process of the supply chain, resulting in consumers' trust crisis on the authenticity of traceability information.

The BRICS nations-Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa-have grown significantly in importance over the past few decades, playing a vital role in the development and growth of the global economy. This expansion has not been without cost, either, since these countries' concern over environmental deterioration has risen sharply. Both researchers and decision-makers have focused a lot of attention on the connection between economic growth and ecological sustainability.

Okadaic acid (OA) biotoxin acts a well-established inhibitor of protein phosphatase even a tumor promoter of human being, arouse great attention in safety monitoring. However, the powerful and convenient nanosensing technologies for addressing the demands such as rapidity, high sensitivity, and stability in the in-field test of OA shellfish toxin is still scarce. Herein, a high-performance magnetic biometric nanosensor (MBNS) integrating oriented aptamers and ultrasensitive laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) was firstly proposed for the in-field detection of trace OA in seafoods.

Modulating the Schottky barrier of Pt/PbTiO for efficient piezo-photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.

Dalton Trans

May 2023

Research Institute of Photocatalysis, State Key Laboratory of Photocatalysis on Energy and Environment, Fuzhou University, Fuzhou 350002, P. R. China.

Charge recombination severely restricts the photocatalytic efficiencies of materials. Loading cocatalysts on the surface of host photocatalysts is a promising strategy for charge separation, which, however, suffers from the large Schottky barrier at the cocatalyst/host interface. Herein, a series of Pt/PbTiO compounds were constructed as a proof-of-concept utilizing the piezoelectric field of PbTiO under acoustic vibrations to modulate the height of the interfacial Schottky barrier.

Even though organizations encourage the dissemination of knowledge and information among organizational members, the phenomenon of knowledge hiding still exists widely in organizations. The consequences of leader-signaled knowledge hiding are more destructive to the workplace than the consequences of employees' knowledge hiding. It is particularly necessary to explore the influence mechanism of leader-signaled knowledge hiding on employees' work behavior.

As a result of social change, the issues, such as the complexity of family structure and increasing student problems, are becoming more complicated. Both schools and parents have high expectations of teachers and expect them to solve the problems. Considering the many different factors involved in this issue, this could lead to a psychological and physiological imbalance in teachers, especially in relation to their emotions which results in role ambiguity.

Does Population Aging Impact China's Economic Growth?

Int J Environ Res Public Health

September 2022

Department of Marketing, Sumy State University, 40007 Sumy, Ukraine.

The rapid aging of the population presents great challenges in terms of China's social security expenditure and economic growth. This paper uses the entropy method to comprehensively measure the provincial population aging index in 2008-2019 and constructs an intermediary effect model with it as the core explanatory variable. The results show that the population aging has a significant positive impact on economic growth and on the promotion of the economic growth of more developed areas; it also has a positive impact on the endowment insurance expenditure and medical and health expenditure and on the promotion of economically backward areas.

September 2022

School of Transportation Engineering, East China Jiao Tong University, Nanchang 330013, China.

In order to study the mixed time window vehicle routing optimization problem based on customer priority, a customer differentiation management strategy based on customer priority is proposed. Combined with the main factors affecting customer priority evaluation and the characteristics of vehicle routing problem with mixed time windows, a comprehensive evaluation index affecting customer priority was first established and DBSCAN clustering algorithm was used for clustering analysis of customer priority to solve the optimization problem of cold chain distribution route considering customer priority. Fuzzy time window of refrigerated vehicles was then constructed with trapezoidal fuzzy number, and a mathematical programming model was built with an objective function for minimizing the sum of fixed, green, penalty, refrigeration, and cargo damage costs.

Farmers' entrepreneurship is a powerful breakthrough for solving the problems associated with "agriculture, rural areas and farmers." Although studies have commonly used the same entrepreneurial activities to analyze farmers' entrepreneurship, its deep economic roots have rarely been investigated. Investigating the internal development mechanism within the same industry is helpful for understanding farmers' entrepreneurship motivation and decision making and is an important point at which to implement regional research and enrich the overall research on farmers' entrepreneurship in the Chinese context.

Comput Intell Neurosci

June 2022

Department of Physical Education, Fujian Business University, Fu Zhou, Fu Jian 350012, China.

In recent years, significant advances in the development of computer vision technology have produced many platforms and systems that combine computer technology and sports-assisted training, including intelligent systems that are integrated with golf training and instruction. However, the existing intelligent systems for golf-assisted teaching usually use three-dimensional depth information, which will significantly increase the cost of intelligent systems. In this paper, the extraction of golf club slope is carried out on the basis of golf sport video capture using a common monocular camera in order to match the club slope information with the professional coach swing video information.
