An MRI radiomics nomogram improves the accuracy in identifying eligible candidates for fertility-preserving treatment in endometrioid adenocarcinoma.

It is difficult to identify eligible candidates for fertility-preserving treatment (FPT) among endometrioid adenocarcinoma (EAC) and atypical hyperplasia (AH) patients. Therefore, new approaches for improving the accuracy of candidate selection are warranted. From December 2014 to January 2020, 236 EAC/AH patients (age <50 and premenopausal) were retrospectively reviewed and randomly divided into the primary group (n=158) and validation group 1 (n=78).

Effects of epidural preemptive analgesia on stress reaction in retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy surgery: a randomized controlled study.

Objective: To compare the effects of general anesthesia combined with epidural preemptive analgesia with general anesthesia on stress reaction in the retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgery.

Methods: Forty patients with adrenal tumors undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgeries were randomly assigned into general anesthesia combined with epidural preemptive analgesia group (GE) and general anesthesia group (G). Each group had 20 cases.

A comparison of upper airway parameters in postpartum patients: vaginal delivery vs. caesarean section.

Mallampati class has been shown to increase during labour. The influence of delivery mode on this change is not known yet. The aim of our study is to investigate the changes of upper airway parameters in parturients after caesarean section and vaginal delivery.

A case of accidental intrathecal injection of a large dose of ropivacaine during cesarean section.

Continuous spinal anesthesia may provide excellent labor analgesia. The incidence of accidental intrathecal injection of megadose of ropivacaine, as one of the possible complications during cesarean section, is very rare. Present case report provides reference to clinical practice.

Continuous spinal anesthesia with sufentanil in labor analgesia can induce maternal febrile responses in puerperas.

Unlabelled: Several studies documented persistent hypothermia in parturients after spinal anesthesia, while others reported that labor analgesia was related to a high incidence of fever. Continuous spinal labor anesthesia with sufentanil (CSLAS) is a new effective technique in labor analgesia but whether it affects maternal temperature has not been clarified. The aim of our study was to explore the relationship between CSLAS and maternal intrapartum temperature during vaginal delivery.
