This study aims to evaluate whether laparoscopic surgery enhances health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in endometriosis patients, utilizing the Endometriosis Health Profile-30 (EHP-30) questionnaire. The study also explores the correlations between disease severity, preoperative scores, and the subsequent changes following surgical intervention. This is a prospective observational study.

Analysis of early efficacy and immune reconstitution after autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in multiple myeloma.

This retrospective study aimed to stress the advantages of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (auto-HSCT) in treating primary MM. Ninety-four MM patients who underwent initial parallel sequential auto-HSCT were selected. Data on efficacy (efficacy evaluation, renal function and hemoglobin recovery), immune reconstitution (B-cell subsets, immunoglobulin levels, T-cell subsets, NK cells, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR)) and hematopoietic reconstitution times were collected and analyzed.

Yes-associated protein (YAP) is a critical effector of the Hippo pathway, our aim was to explore the association between YAP and the diagnosis and prognosis of AD.

Lung protective ventilation guided by driving pressure improves pulmonary outcomes in heart transplantation.

This study aimed to investigate whether driving pressure-guided ventilation can reduce postoperative pulmonary complications in patients who have undergone heart transplantation. Patients who underwent orthotopic heart transplantation were divided into two groups according to the perioperative ventilation strategy: (1) conventional lung-protective ventilation (group C) and (2) driving pressure-guided ventilation (group D). The primary outcome was the occurrence of postoperative pulmonary complications within 30 days of surgery.

Postoperative self-management experiences among patients with aortic dissection: a phenomenological approach.

Objective: The objective of this study is to examine the postoperative self-management experiences of patients with aortic dissection (AD) through qualitative interviews, providing a foundation for the standardized management of postoperative home care for these patients.

Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 18 patients with AD postoperatively, in the cardiac surgery department of a tertiary hospital in Fujian Province between March and May 2020. This qualitative study used phenomenological methods and purposive sampling, with data analyzed using Colaizzi's seven-step approach to extract themes.

A retrospective analysis was conducted on 35 patients with chronic HFrEF accompanied by CLBBB treated at our center from April 2018 to October 2022.
