Objective: To investigate the effectivess of arthroscopic Wafer surgery combined with triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) insertion point reconstruction in the treatment of Palmer type ⅡC combined with typeⅠB ulnar impingement syndrome.

Methods: The clinical data of 14 patients with Parlmer type ⅡC combined with type ⅠB ulnar impingement syndrome who met the selection criteria between July 2021 and April 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 7 males and 7 females with an average age of 43 years ranging from 16 to 59 years.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly altered the etiological spectrum and epidemiological characteristics of pediatric respiratory diseases, and a profound understanding of these changes is crucial for guiding clinical treatment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the etiological patterns and epidemiological features of pathogens in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) from children with pediatric lower respiratory tract infections (LRTIs) after the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aim of providing effective therapeutic evidence for clinical practice.

Methods: This study enrolled pediatric patients diagnosed with LRTIs who were treated and underwent BALF pathogen detection at our hospital from June 1, 2023, to June 1, 2024.

Background: There is limited research on the relationship between blood pressure variability (BPV) and outcomes among patients receiving intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) for acute ischemic stroke (AIS). This study aimed to investigate the effect of 24-h BPV on the outcome of patients with AIS treated with IVT.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of patients with AIS who had undergone IVT treatment.

Background: To investigate the association between inflammatory factors, such as complete blood count (CBC) components, neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), monocyte/lymphocyte ratio (MLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).

Methods: A total of 635 pregnant women with GDM and 296 with normal pregnancies at 7-13 weeks of gestation who underwent prenatal examinations in the obstetrics department were enrolled (June 2020-December 2020). CBC parameters, including WBC, neutrophil, lymphocyte (LYM), monocyte (MON), red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), platelet (PLT), platelet accumulation (PCT), mean platelet volume (MPV), NLR, MLR, PLR, alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), and other parameters were assessed.

Background: Lobar pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a relatively difficult-to-treat pneumonia in children. The time of radiographic resolution after treatment is variable, a long recovery time can result in several negative effects, and it has attracted our attention. Therefore, exploring factors associated with delayed radiographic resolution will help to identify these children at an early stage and prepare for early intervention.

This study was designed to explore the influence of myelin protein zero-like protein 1 (MPZL1) on the stem-like properties of cancer cells and the underlying mechanism in lung adenocarcinoma. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was utilized to evaluate mRNA expression level. CCK8, wound healing, and transwell assays were applied to assess cell proliferation, migration, and invasion.

Cbf-14 with the sequence RLLRKFFRKLKKSV, is an effective antimicrobial peptide derived from a cathelin-like domain. Previous reports have demonstrated that Cbf-14 not only exerts antimicrobial activity against penicillin-resistant bacteria but also alleviates bacterial-induced inflammation in E. coli BL21 (DE3)-NDM-1-infected mice.

This study aimed to report the three-dimensional reconstruction of the foramen ovale (FO) based on computed tomography angiography and describe its shape and related angles. A retrospective analysis of 199 adult patients who were hospitalised at the Department of Neurosurgery, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College, Bengbu, China, from January to December 2020 was conducted. The original DICOM files of patients' computed tomography scans were processed by 3D Slicer software to reconstruct the three-dimensional skull.

Cardiovascular thoracic surgery, Fu Yang People's Hospital, No. 501 Sanqing road, Yingzhou district, Fuyang, 236000, Anhui, China.

LINC00504 acts as an oncogene and associates with unfavorable prognosis in patients with lung cancer. Silencing LINC00504 may be a promising strategy for treatment of lung cancer and its effects were firstly investigated in lung cancer cells this study. The gene expression level of miR-876-3p as well as LINC00504 were measured via PCR assay.

Background: Understanding the patterns of species richness across elevational gradients is a key concept for contemporary research in ecology and evolution, and critical to understanding large-scale trends in biodiversity, global change and conservation. However, patterns of elevational species richness between taxonomic groups, regions and latitudes are inconsistent, so that various, sometimes conflicting hypotheses exist. Several scholars have pointed out that research on elevational distribution patterns is often biased by the sampling design employed.

This study investigated roles of serum ST2, IL-33 and BNP in predicting major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Blood samples were collected from the included AMI patients (n = 180) who underwent PCI. All patients were divided into the MACEs and MACEs-free groups.
