Self-transmissible IncC plasmids rapidly spread multidrug resistance in many medically important pathogens worldwide. A large plasmid of this type (pIP1202, ~80 Kb) has been isolated in a clinical isolate of , the agent of plague. The effect of growth temperature and subsequent annealing on the epitaxy of both single- and few-layer TaSe on Se-terminated GaP(111) substrates is investigated. The selective growth of the 1T and 1H phases is shown up to 1 ML according to X-ray and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopies. The 1H monolayer, favored at low temperatures, exhibits a very homogeneous coverage after annealing, while the 1T ML, grown at high temperatures, is characterized by a better in-plane orientation.

Kahneman's dual-process model postulates that two systems are involved in decision-making: slow thinking, defined as analytical processing of information, and fast thinking, where decisions emerge from intuitive, automatic responses. Climbers in Olympic bouldering typically engage in slow thinking to interpret movements and explore climbing strategies. However, time constraints imposed by regulations, combined with ineffective decision-making and failed climbing attempts, may compel them to make more intuitive, fast decisions.

Ni(II) complexes with an integer spin = 1 that behave as clock transition spin qubits at zero magnetic field are resilient to magnetic fluctuations of the spin bath, while Co(II) complexes with a half-integer spin ( = 3/2) lose their coherence when they are subject to the same fluctuating magnetic field as the Ni(II) ones. These findings demonstrate that adequately designed Ni(II) complexes are excellent candidates for spin qubits.

This paper discusses the geometric properties and symmetries of general moiré patterns generated by homophase bilayers twisted by rotation 2δ. These patterns are generically quasiperiodic of rank 4 and result from the interferences between two basic periodicities incommensurate to each other, defined by the sites in the layers that are kept invariant through the symmetry operations of the structure. These invariant sites are distributed on the nodes of a set of lattices called Φ-lattices - where Φ runs on the rotation operations of the symmetry group of the monolayers - which are the centers of rotation 2δ + Φ transforming a lattice node of the first layer into a node of the second.

Recent advances using Virus Specific T cells to generate CAR-VST have demonstrated potential for enhanced persistence and antitumor efficacy, positioning CAR-VSTs as a promising alternative to conventional CAR-T cells in an allogeneic setting. This review provides a comprehensive overview of CAR-VST development, emphasizing strategies to mitigate immunogenicity, such as using a specialized TCR, and approaches to improve therapeutic persistence against host immune responses.
