Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA)-encoded small proteins play a major role in colorectal cancer. To identify more functional encoded small proteins, ribosome profiling data from colorectal cancer (CRC) cells were screened for ribosome-associated lncRNAs. The search identified LINC01547 that was shown to encode a small protein of 76 amino acids, termed LINC01547-ORF.

Adolescent male rats show altered gut microbiota composition associated with depressive-like behavior after chronic unpredictable mild stress: Differences from adult rats.

Accumulating evidence reveals the metabolism and neurotransmitter systems are different in major depressive disorder (MDD) between adolescent and adult patients; however, much is still unknown from the gut microbiome perspective. To minimize confounding factors such as geographical location, ethnicity, diet, and drugs, we investigated the gut microbial differences between adolescent and adult male Sprague-Dawley rats. We exposed the adolescent rats to chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) for 3 weeks and assessed their behavior using the sucrose preference test (SPT), open field test (OFT), and forced swimming test (FST).

[Effect of neuroelectrophysiological changes on the clinical manifestations and surgical outcomes of lumbar degenerative diseases].

Objective: To evaluate the effects of electromyography on the clinical manifestations and prognosis after posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF) of degenerative lumbar diseases.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 68 patients with degenerative lumbar diseases, including 29 males and 39 females, aged 21 to 84 years old, who underwent electromyogram (EMG) from January 2018 to October 2019. The patients were divided into negative and positive groups according to whether theresults of EMG was normal or abnormal, PLIF surgery was performed in both groups.

[Analysis the effect of cytokine-induced killer cells combined with mFOLFOX6 regimen in chemotherapy for advanced colorectal cancer].

To investigate the effect of cytokine-induced killer cells (CIK) combined with mFOLFOX6 regimen (fluorouracil+oxaliplatin+calcium folinate) on advanced colorectal cancer. 161 patients with advanced colon cancer admitted to the Fourth Clinical College of Xinxiang Medical College, Xinxiang Central Hospital of Henan Province from 2019 to 2021 were selected and divided into the study group (mFOLFOX6 regimen chemotherapy+CIK therapy) with 80 cases and the control group (mFOLFOX6 regimen chemotherapy) with 81 cases. The KPS score, median survival time, progression-free survival time, the proportion of Treg in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, the levels of CD4+, CD4+/CD8+, the expression levels of Foxp3 and CD127 mRNA, the quality-of-life score and the occurrence of toxic and side effects were compared between the two groups before and after chemotherapy.

[Analgesic effect of buccal acupuncture on patients after lumbar spinal fusion: a randomized controlled trial].

Objective: To observe the effect of buccal acupuncture on pain after lumbar spinal fusion.

Methods: Sixty patients undergoing lumbar spinal fusion were randomly divided into an observation group (30 cases, 1 case dropped off) and a control group (30 cases, 1 case was eliminated). The patients in the control group were treated with routine anesthesia.

Objective To explore the effects of microRNA-155-5p (miR-155-5p) on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced neuroinflammatory damage of human SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells. Methods SH-SY5Y cells line was overexpressed miR-155-5p or transfected with negative control (miR-155-5p mimic group, mimic-NC group), down-expressed miR-155-5p or transfected with its negative control (miR-155-5p inhibitor group, inhibitor-NC group). The cells with successful transfection in the above groups were treated with LPS for 24 hours.

[Effect of methylene blue labeling on therapeutic effect and prognosis of gastric cancer patients in D2 radical gastrectomy under laparoscope].

To investigate the effect of methylene blue tracing on the effect of surgical resection and the prognosis of gastric cancer patients in D2 radical surgery under laparoscope. In this retrospective cohort study, 160 patients with advanced gastric cancer who underwent surgical treatment in Xinxiang Central Hospital, the 4th Clinical College of Xinxiang Medical College from January 2016 to January 2019 were selected for retrospective analysis. Among them, 84 patients underwent laparoscopic D2 radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer combined with methylene blue labeling operation (labeling group), and the other 76 patients underwent only laparoscopic D2 radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer (control group).

[Application of liver venous deprivation in secondary hepatic resection of primary liver cancer].

To investigate the efficacy and safety of liver venous deprivation (LVD) before secondary resection of primary liver cancer. 56 patients with advanced primary liver cancer who were not suitable for primary resection in Liver Surgery Department of Xinxiang Central Hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. They were divided into liver vein deprivation group (LVD group: LVD+ PVE, =26) and portal vein embolization group (PVE group, =30).

Objective: In intensive care units (ICUs), carbapenem-resistant (CRE) pose a significant threat. We aimed to examine the distribution, epidemiological characteristics, and risk factors for CRE positivity in ICUs.

Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 96 ICUs of 78 hospitals in Henan Province, China.

Effect and Prognosis Factors of Combining Laparoscopic Radical Resection of Colon Adenocarcinoma with Docetaxel Therapy in Treating Middle and Advanced Colon Adenocarcinoma.

Objective: The aim of the study is to explore the clinical efficacy and prognosis factors of joint application of laparoscopic radical resection of colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) and docetaxel therapy in treating COAD of middle and advanced stages.

Methods: The clinical data of 103 COAD patients of middle and advanced stages treated in our hospital from July 2016 to July 2018 were selected for the retrospective analysis, all patients received the treatment scheme of combining laparoscopic radical resection of COAD with docetaxel therapy for the observation of short-term efficacy, follow-up was conducted to record their 3-year survival, and relevant factors affecting patient prognosis were analyzed by the logistic regression model.

Results: After treatment, the total remission rate of patients was 75.
