Squamous Cell Carcinoma Arising in a Zenker's Diverticulum.

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) developing in a Zenker's diverticulum (ZD) is an uncommon condition. The preferred treatment for SCC in the pharyngeal pouch is complete diverticulum resection. Only histopathological evaluation of the pouch can rule out SCC.

Current trends in diagnosis and management of follicular lymphoma.

Follicular lymphoma (FL) originates from germinal center B cells, is the most prevalent form of indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Upfront management is based on stage, grade, and disease burden. Radiotherapy may be curative in limited disease while chemoimmunotherapy is preferred in advanced disease.

Achieving Correct Axis and Good Depth in Gender Affirming Vaginoplasties by Penile-Perineoscrotal Flap Vaginoplasty.

 Vaginoplasty as a part of feminizing genitoplasty (FG) in transwomen helps alleviate gender dysphoria and improves mental health, sexual and psychosocial functioning, and quality of life in these individuals. Penile inversion technique (PSFV) remains the gold standard procedure for FG with least morbidity but has inherent limitations often resulting in inadequate depth and incorrect (posteroinferior) vaginal axis, precluding sexual intercourse.  Over the past 27 years, the senior author has refined his technique considerably incorporating several modifications penile perineo-scrotal flap vaginoplasty (PPSFV) to overcome the limitations in PSFV.

Clinical efficacy of mycophenolate mofetil versus levamisole therapy in frequently relapsing and steroid dependent childhood nephrotic syndrome - A retrospective comparative analysis.

Background: Children with frequently relapsing (FR) or steroid dependent (SD) nephrotic syndrome (NS) often develop side effects of corticosteroids. Various steroid-sparing agents are in practice, but only a few studies exist so far which have compared the safety and efficacy of these two commonly used agents.

Methods: We did a retrospective medical records review of children with FRNS or SDNS who had levamisole or mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) as a steroid-sparing agent with a minimum follow-up period of 12 months.

A Novel Procedure of Prepuce Reconstruction Customized to the Religious Needs of Some Individuals.

 Authors describe a novel procedure in a group of patients for prepuce reconstruction, ensuring complete glans penis coverage who had either been circumcised in childhood or had congenitally short prepuce.  Case records of all cases done by the novel method which involved penile degloving and maintenance of neoprepuce, with the help of de-epithelization of glans penis and a few key sutures performed over the period from January 2010 to December 2019 were reviewed retrospectively. A total of 46 patients, 32 had congenitally short prepuce and 14 had previous circumcision.
