To evaluate by using 3D renal volumetric assessment and compare renal parenchymal preservation between patient who underwent open partial nephrectomy (OPN) and robot assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (RALPN). We retrospectively reviewed the records of the patients to evaluate the effect of OPN (23 patients) or RALPN (19 patients) partial nephrectomy on renal parenchymal preservation. The CT or MRI were examined using 3D-Slicer image processing software.

Acquired Constriction Band Syndrome Affecting Multiple Digits - A Case Report.

Rubber band syndrome is a condition that usually affects children because of wearing a rubber band on the wrist or the ankle. Depending on the degree of pressure caused by the band, patients may present acutely with ischemia and necrosis of the tissues distal to the bands or chronically with change in shape, oedema, loss of function, sensation and rarely amputation. This condition is very rare in adults and most reports in literature are in patients with cognitive impairment or psychiatric illness.

Real life experience of patients with locally advanced gastric and gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy: a Turkish oncology group study.

We aimed to share our real-life experience of patients who received NACT to compare the efficacy and toxicity profile of different chemotherapy regimens in our country. This retrospective multicentre study included locally advanced GC and GEJ cancer patients who received NACT between 2007 and 2021.

Predictive Factors and Amputation Level for Reamputation in Patients With Diabetic Foot: A Retrospective Case-Control Study.

The aim of this study was to assess the rate and level of reamputation in patients who had a previous amputation from diabetic foot. We retrospectively analyzed patients who underwent amputation and reamputation due to diabetic foot in our clinic between 2011 and 2019. Fifty-nine were evaluated as the healed group after the first amputation and 55 were evaluated as the reamputation group.

Clinical and radiological results of kyphectomy and sliding growing rod surgery technique performed in children with myelomeningocele.

Background: The aim of this study was to present clinical and radiological results of myelomeningocele (MMC) patients treated with the sliding growing rod (SGR) technique after kyphectomy.

Methods: Between 2016 and 2019, 30 patients (21 males and nine females) who underwent the SGR technique with kyphectomy and posterior instrumentation due to MMC were retrospectively reviewed. Patients' pre- and postoperative kyphosis, scoliosis, correction rates, bleeding during surgery, blood supply during and after surgery, operation time, instrumentation levels, number of vertebrae removed, MMC onset levels, hospital stay, annual lengthening amounts, and complications were evaluated.

The study group included 50 patients who had been diagnosed with FD; the control group was composed of 50 patients who had shown no signs of FD and who had undergone an elective (previous) caesarean section (CS).

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) on some reproductive characteristics, testicular and pancreatic oxidative status and pancreatic endocrine receptor densities of male offspring at post-pubertal stage. A total of 36 1-day-old Wistar Albino male offspring including 12 pups of nontreated mothers (control group), 14 pups of 40 mg/kg STZ-injected mothers (STZ-40 group) and 10 pups of 60 mg/kg STZ-injected mothers (STZ-60 group) were used. The offspring were euthanised on post-natal day 60, their blood, reproductive organs and pancreatic tissues were obtained and examined.

Post-traumatic anterior shoulder instability commonly occurs following an avulsion of capsulolabral complex from glenoid (Bankart lesion) or rarely after humeral avulsion of the glenohumeral ligaments (HAGL lesion). Arthroscopic Bankart repair offers high success rates of healing. However, trauma following the treatment may cause implant failure or re-avulsion of the treated tissue.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of placental strain ratio (SR) values measured by real-time sonoelastography (SE) in the second trimester in the prediction of spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB).

Methods: This study included 70 pregnant women who applied to our clinic for routine second-trimester screening. Placental SR measurements were performed with the SE method.
