Purpose: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of bipolar coagulation forceps combined with 1% lauromacrogol foam sclerotherapy in the treatment of microcystic lymphatic malformation of tongue.

Methods: The clinical data of 16 patients with microcystic lymphatic malformation of the tongue admitted to the Department of Stomatology of Foshan First People's Hospital from April 2017 to April 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, including 7 males and 9 females, aging from 15 months to 21 years. Purpose: To explore the DSA classification and treatment strategy of tongue venous malformation.

Methods: From February 2016 to February 2019, the DSA manifestations of 132 cases with venous malformations of the tongue were summarized. They were classified into 4 types according to imaging characteristics: typeⅠ(non-drainage type), typeⅡ(lower- drainage type), type Ⅲ (higher-drainage type), type Ⅳ(extensive type).

Hepatocyte TMEM16A Deletion Retards NAFLD Progression by Ameliorating Hepatic Glucose Metabolic Disorder.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most prevalent form of chronic liver disease, and the mechanisms underpinning its pathogenesis have not been completely established. Transmembrane member 16A (TMEM16A), a component of the Ca-activated chloride channel (CaCC), has recently been implicated in metabolic events. Herein, TMEM16A is shown to be responsible for CaCC activation in hepatocytes and is increased in liver tissues of mice and patients with NAFLD.

Overexpression of BRCA1 attenuates the sensitivity of PC9 cells to gefitinib.

Gefitinib is an orally active antitumor agent which inhibits uncontrolled cell proliferation by interrupting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathways. Various in vitro and in vivo studies have revealed that the upregulated expression of breast cancer susceptibility gene 1 (BRCA1) is associated with chemoresistance and reduced survival following chemotherapies. In this study, a gefitinib-highly-sensitive cell line, PC-9, was used to investigate the effect of BRCA1 expression on the sensitivity of PC-9 cells to gefitinib.

Expression of protein TARBP1 in human hepatocellular carcinoma and its prognostic significance.

Objective: The objective of this study was to analyze the expression of TARBP1 and its clinical significance in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Materials And Methods: 90 patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma were included in this study. The tumor and paired adjacent non-tumor tissues were collected.

Polyethylene terephthalate LARS ligament were the remnant of LARS ligament used for repairing posterior cruciate ligament obtained from operation. We want to study histological characteristics and ultrastructure of polyethylene terephthalate LARS ligament after the reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament in rabbits. Therefore, we replaced the original ACL with polyethylene terephthalate LARS ligament which was covering with the remnant of ACL in 9 rabbits (L-LARS group), while just only polyethylene terephthalate LARS ligament were transplanted in 3 rabbits (LARS group) with the remnant of ACL.
