Background: The precision of segmentectomy/subsegmentectomy for ground glass opacity (GGO)-dominant cT1a-bN0 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), including mono-segmentectomy, mono-subsegmentectomy, combined subsegmentectomies, and single segmentectomy with adjacent subsegmentectomy, has improved. The aim of this study is to investigate their positional indications by focusing on the three-dimensional location of lesions, utilizing three-dimensional computed tomography bronchography and angiography (3D-CTBA).

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 195 patients with GGO-dominant cT1a-bN0 NSCLC who underwent segmentectomy/subsegmentectomy between August 2015 and November 2020.

To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of albumin-bound paclitaxel as first-line treatment for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer in China, and to explore the prognosis-related molecules in pancreatic cancer based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) of tumor tissues. From December 2018 to December 2020, patients with locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer were recruited to accept albumin-bound paclitaxel as first-line treatment in the oncology departments of 24 hospitals in East China. The primary endpoints were overall survival (OS) and treatment related adverse events, and the secondary endpoint was progression-free survival (PFS).

The increasing demand for disease modeling, preclinical drug testing, and long waiting lists for alternative organ substitutes has posed significant challenges to current limitations in organoid technology. Consequently, organoid technology has emerged as a cutting-edge tool capable of accurately recapitulating the complexity of actual organs in physiology and functionality. To bridge the gaps between basic research and pharmaceutical as well as clinical applications, efforts have been made to develop organoids from tissue-derived stem cells or pluripotent stem cells.

Methods: We performed a multicenter, open-label, randomized trial in China, involving patients with symptomatic nonacute subdural hematoma with mass effect. Patients were assigned to undergo burr-hole drainage or receive nonsurgical treatment at the surgeon's discretion, and patients in each group were then randomly assigned, in a 1:1 ratio, to undergo middle meningeal artery embolization with liquid embolic material or to receive usual care.

To identify the factors that influence the time to treatment (TT) in patients with idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSNHL). This study included a total of 324 patients with ISSNHL, who were treated at our department between September 2021 and May 2024. Basic information and audiological indicators of patients were collected, and their relationship with the TT was analyzed.

Background: Tumor-associated macrophages play a critical role in the progression and immune response of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Our study aimed to explore the characteristics of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in TNBC, construct a risk signature associated with TAM clusters, and verify its relationship with prognosis and immune-related characteristics.

Methods: Firstly, we identified four TAM clusters and determined prognosis-related clusters in TNBC based on the single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data.
