Transcatheter arterial embolization for cancer-related non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding: A multicenter retrospective study of 107 patients.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to retrospectively evaluate the outcome of transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) in the treatment of cancer-related non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGIB).

Materials And Methods: One-hundred and seven patients who underwent TAE for the treatment of cancer-related non-variceal UGIB at five institutions between June 2016 and May 2019 were retrospectively included. There were 78 men and 29 women, with a mean age of 60.

In this study, clinical data of 193 patients who underwent medial epichanthoplasty by the modified skin redraping technique or the classic skin redraping technique were reviewed retrospectively. The patients underwent operation between May 2018 and June 2020 and were followed up for not less than 6 months.

Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the efficiency of 3D Cube FLAIR plus HyperSense compressed sensing technique versus conventional 2-dimention (2D) FLAIR scanning in the detection of cortical microinfarcts (CMIs).

A high salt diet (HSD) is often associated with a high risk for a variety of diseases, such as obesity and cardiovascular disease. Previous studies have demonstrated that an HSD enhances Th17 responses and increases the severity of autoimmune diseases. In this study, we investigated the effects of HSD (4% NaCl w/w) on colitis in IL-10 mice by comparing it with IL-10 mice on a normal salt diet (NSD, 1% NaCl w/w).
