To investigate the changes in hearing threshold of the acquired primary cholesteatoma of the middle ear with different degrees of eustachian tube dysfunction after balloon eustachian tuboplasty. Understanding the intricate interplay between sensory nerves and bone tissue cells is of paramount significance in the field of bone biology and clinical medicine. The regulatory role of sensory nerves in bone homeostasis offers a novel perspective for the development of targeted therapeutic interventions for a spectrum of bone-related diseases, including osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and intervertebral disc degeneration. By elucidating the mechanisms through which sensory nerves and their neuropeptides influence the differentiation and function of bone tissue cells, this review aims to shed light on emerging therapeutic targets that harness the neuro-skeletal axis for the treatment and management of debilitating bone disorders.

The study aimed to explore the pathogenesis of secondary frozen shoulder and its influence on synovium tissue and angiogenesis by constructing a rat secondary frozen shoulder model along with transforming growth factor. 40 healthy male rats aged 8 weeks were divided into Sham group (n=10, no modeling treatment), Control group (n=10, modeling treatment), Low group (n=10, modeling treatment, and 10 mL/d transforming growth factor), and High group (n=10, modeling treatment, and 20 mL/d transforming growth factor). Effects of angiotensin receptor/neprilysin inhibitors (ARNI) on ventricular remodeling in patients with heart failure, especially heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), are better than those of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI). A novel photoelectrochemical (PEC) aptasensor based on a dual Z-scheme α-FeO/MoS/BiS ternary heterojunction for the ultrasensitive detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) was developed. The α-FeO/MoS/BiS nanocomposite was prepared via a step-by-step route, and the photoproduced electron/hole transfer path was speculated by conducting trapping experiments of reactive species. α-FeO/MoS/BiS-modified electrodes exhibited greatly enhanced photocurrent under visible light due to the double Z-scheme charge transfer process, which met the requirement of the PEC sensor for detecting larger targets.
