A total of 497 -positive patients who underwent gastroscopy and diagnosed with NUD were enrolled from June 2018 to January 2020 in 9 medical centers across China. Participants were segmentedly randomly divided into 3 groups.

Diagnostic models of the pre-test probability of stable coronary artery disease: A systematic review.

A comprehensive search of PubMed and Embase was performed in January 2015 to examine the available literature on validated diagnostic models of the pre-test probability of stable coronary artery disease and to describe the characteristics of the models. Studies that were designed to develop and validate diagnostic models of pre-test probability for stable coronary artery disease were included. Data regarding baseline patient characteristics, procedural characteristics, modeling methods, metrics of model performance, risk of bias, and clinical usefulness were extracted.

High-dose calcium channel blocker (CCB) monotherapy vs combination therapy of standard-dose CCBs and angiotensin receptor blockers for hypertension: a meta-analysis.

In this study, we evaluated the efficacy and safety of high-dose calcium channel blocker (CCB) monotherapy and standard-dose CCBs combined with angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) for patients with hypertension. A comprehensive search of PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials was performed in December 2015. Randomized controlled trials designed to identify the above goal were included.

Remote home management for chronic kidney disease: A systematic review.

Background Remote home management is a new healthcare model that uses information technology to enhance patients' self-management of disease in a home setting. This study is designed to identify the effects of remote home management on patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Methods A comprehensive search of PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials was performed in January 2015.

Short-term rosuvastatin therapy for prevention of contrast-induced acute kidney injury in patients with diabetes and chronic kidney disease.

Objectives: This study sought to evaluate the safety and efficacy of rosuvastatin in preventing contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) and chronic kidney disease (CKD).

Background: CI-AKI is an important complication after contrast medium injection. While small studies have shown positive results with statin therapy, the role of statin therapy in prevention of CI-AKI remains unknown.

Methylation of a novel CpG island of intron 1 is associated with steroidogenic factor 1 expression in endometriotic stromal cells.

Unlabelled: Steroidogenic factor 1 (SF-1), a transcriptional factor essential for estrogen biosynthesis, is undetectable in endometrial stromal cells and aberrantly expressed in endometriotic stromal cells.

Objective: We tried to gain further insight into the mechanism for differential SF-1 expression in endometrial and endometriotic stromal cells.

Design: We had previously identified a novel CpG island in SF-1, which is located in the downstream intron 1 region.

Efficacy of externally applied Chinese herbal drugs in treating psoriasis: a systematic review.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of external application of Chinese herbal drugs (ex-CHD) in the treatment of psoriasis.

Methods: Literature regarding randomized clinical trials (RCTs) of psoriasis treatments with ex-CHD, either alone or combined with Western medicine (WM) or physiotherapy, controlled by untreated, placebo or WM treatment were found in electronic databases, including PubMed/MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, China Biology Medicine Disc (CBM), Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang database and VIP database from their inception through July 2011. Study selection, data extraction, quality assessment, and data analyses were conducted according to the Cochrane standards.

NIRS study of cerebral oxygenation and hemodynamics in neonate at birth.

To study the changes of cerebral oxygenation and hemodynamics in normal neonates at 2-5 min post-birth and understand the effects of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) upon cerebral oxygenation and hemodynamics in newborn neonates. The near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) was employed to measure the absolute quantity of brain tissue oxygen saturation (rSO2) in newborn neonates and the changes of concentrations of deoxyhemoglobin (Hb) and oxygenation hemoglobin (HbO2) with time relative to initial values to further obtain the changes of total hemoglobin (tHb) and cerebral perfusion (denoted by HbD). In normal neonates at 2-5 min post-birth, rSO2 increased while tHb remained relatively stable and HbD increased.

[Measurement of brain regional oxygen saturation in neonates in China: a multicenter randomized clinical trial].

Objectives: To understand the value of measuring neonatal cerebral regional oxygen saturation (rSO2) using near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) in assessing cerebral oxygenation, to establish the normal range of neonatal cerebral rSO2 and to collect data of the changes of cerebral rSO2 under certain disease status.

Methods: Nine large hospitals participated in the multicenter randomized clinical trial from Jan 2007 to Apr 2008. Using the NIRS human tissue oximeter (TSAH-100) independently developed in China, the cerebral rSO2 of 223 normal full-term and 95 otherwise healthy preterm neonates without any special disease, was detected at 1, 2 and 3 days after birth, respectively.

[Effects of different anesthetic methods and anesthetic drugs on stress reaction during surgical operation].

Objective: To investigate the effect of four different anesthetic methods (combined epidural with general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation or with laryngeal mask airway, total intravenous anesthesia or remifentanil intravenous infusion combined with inhalational anesthesia) on stress reaction in patients undergoing upper abdominal surgery.

Methods: Sixty ASAI-II patients, aged 18 - 65 y, scheduled for elective upper abdominal surgery were enrolled in the study. They were divided into four groups: epidural combine general anesthesia with intubation group (EG group) and with laryngeal mask group (EGL group), total intravenous remifentanil combined with propofol (RP group) and inhalational group (RI group).

[A clinical study of adefovir dipivoxil, made in China, for treatment of hepatitis B e antigen-positive patients with chronic hepatitis B].

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of a China made adefovir dipivoxil (ADV) treatment for hepatitis B e antigen-positive patients with chronic hepatitis B.

Methods: Two hundred and thirty patients with chronic hepatitis B who were positive for hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) were randomly put into groups A or B, and 58 patients with lamivudine-resistant chronic hepatitis B were randomly put into groups C or D. During the first 12 weeks of the trial, 112 patients in group A and 115 patients in group B received 10 mg of ADV and a placebo once a day; 28 patients in group C received 100 mg of lamivudine (LMV) and 10 mg of ADV; 29 patients in group D received 100 mg of LMV and a placebo once a day.

Change of plasma ghrelin level in acute pancreatitis.

Background: Ghrelin is a new endogenous ligand for the growth hormone secretagogue receptor and it has many effects, including stimulating appetite, lipid metabolism and gastric motility. We investigated the change of plasma ghrelin concentration in patients with acute pancreatitis.

Methods: Blood samples were collected twice from each patient with acute pancreatitis.

[Significance of serum carnitine in patients with liver diseases].

Objective: To determine serum carnitine levels in patients with liver diseases and to investigate their significance.

Methods: 25 patients with acute viral hepatitis, 34 with chronic viral hepatitis, 22 with post hepatitis cirrhosis with normal renal function, 9 with post hepatitis cirrhosis but with renal disfunction, and 40 healthy subjects (serving as controls) were enrolled in this study. An enzymatic cycling method was used to determine the serum free carnitine levels.

[Antiviral effects of dual-target antisense rna: an experimental study with hepatitis B virus transgenic mice].

Objective: To investigate the curative effects of dual-target antisense RNA targeting the X and P regions in the genome of hepatitis B virus (HBV).

Methods: Retrovirus vector pLXSN was used to construct 4 kinds of recombinant vector plasmids expressing dual-target antisense RNA complementary to the X and P regions in the genome of HBV, namely, pLXSN-asX, pLXSN-asP, pLXSN-asXP, and pLXSN-seX. 48 HBV transgenic mice were randomly divided into 6 equal groups: pLXSN-asX group, pLXSN-asX group, pLXSN-asX group, pLXSN-asX group, and blank plasmid blank (pLXSN) group, to be injected into the caudal vein with corresponding plasmids thrice for every other day, and blank control group.

[Experimental study on mechanisms of lyophilized powder of fresh gekko Chinenis in inhibiting H22 hepatocarcinoma angiogenesis].

Objective: To investigate the inhibitory effects and its mechanism of lyophilized powder of fresh Gekko Chinenis (GCLP) on H22 hepatocarcinoma growth and angiogenesis in vitro.

Methods: The transplant tumor model of H22 hepatocarcinoma in mice was established. Thirty mice were randomly divided into three groups, the cisplatin group, the GCLP group and the control group, they were treated respectively with intraperitoneal injection of cisplatin 1 mg/g, oral administration of GCLP in a dose of 1.

Confocal imaging: blood and lymphatic capillaries.

Traditional imaging techniques are quite limited for the study of the relationship between blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. Therefore, a new imaging technique is required based on blood vessel and lymphatic endothelial-specific molecular markers. In this short report, vascular molecular markers are reviewed and a new molecular imaging technique for blood vessel and lymphatic co-staining is introduced.

[Inhibitory effect of p21WAF1 on squamous cell carcinoma of larynx mediated with EGF-R targeting polypeptide gene delivery system].

Objective: To evaluate the efficiency of EGF-R targeted polypeptide gene delivery system and inhibitory effect of p21WAF1 on squamous cell carcinoma of larynx.

Method: The EGF-R targeting polypeptide gene delivery system was constructed and a therapeutic gene of p21WAF1 were transfected into Hep-2 cells with the new gene delivery system. The growth curve of transfected Hep-2 cells and flow cytometric analysis were applied to assess the transferring and expression of exogenous genes and inhibitory effect on Hep-2 cells.

[Analysis of clinical manifestations in nasal NK/T-cell lymphomas].

Objective: To investigate the clinical findings, histopathological features, treatment outcome as well as prognosis of nasal NK/T-cell lymphomas and to provide experiences for the diagnosis and treatment of the tumor.

Method: Nine cases with nasal NK/T-cell lymphomas were treated from 1990-2000. Morphological and immunohistochemical study were performed on paraffin sections.

Comparison of Tolerated and Rejected Islet Grafts: A Gene Expression Study.

Recently we showed that donor-specific tolerance to MHC-matched islet allografts in diabetic NOD mice could be induced by simultaneous islet and bone marrow transplantation. Mononuclear cell infiltration surrounding the islets was also found in tolerated grafts. In this study, we compared gene expression in the tolerated and rejected islet grafts by using Affymetrix Murine U74A oligonucleotide arrays.

Promoting hepatic growth factor in the treatment of heavy type hepatitis and severe chronic hepatitis: a multicenter clinical study.

Background: The mortality rate of heavy type hepatitis is high. No special treatment is available except general treatment. This multicenter clinical study was designed to observe the safety and efficacy of promoting hepatic growth factor (PHGF) in the treatment of heavy type hepatitis and severe chronic hepatitis.

Effects of nitric oxide synthase inhibitor to esophagus in a feline esophagitis model.

The present study explores the effects of nitric oxide synthase inhibitor on esophageal motility in a feline model with esophagitis. Perfusion of the esophagus with acid produced inflammatory changes of esophageal mucosa. The esophageal motility was measured before and after the perfusion.
